Sounds like a solid protocol, I’ve dosed as high as 3g panax without any problems. As I said, it does tend to complicate caffeine intake. But it was really good for me when I was in university and had a ton of crap to take care of (alongside a poor hormonal profile). I forget which potency I used; I only remember that it took a while until I found one that had a high enough level of adaptogens (ginsenosides?) to be effective.

Im slowly upping the ginseng and cut the ashwagandha dose in half. I was having issues dropping caffeine a couple of weeks ago but quite coffee cold turkey and feel much better.


Designed my own Stars singlet! Not sure if it will work out since the logos will probably crack when it gets stretched though…

I saw when you switched your avatar I was thinking that it was a bad ass singlet even if it cracks oh well definitely the coolest one I’ve seen. I’m pissed right now I was looking for meets in this area, there’s literally one walking distance from my house yet it filled up in february. Oh well just more time to perfect form and such. Oh, and obviously putting those logos on my singlet would be illegal (copyright bullshit) so my friend won’t do it… Oh well, Ill just wear my Stars shirt underneath! At least its a good way to symbolize my love for hockey and powerlifting in the same picture…unless they think I’m a wrestler.

Can you believe they are talking about canning Maclean. He’s one of the best coaches in the league! The difference between last year and this year for the sens is that they have all the big contract players in the roster this year and their defence sucks. Last year they had all the hungry rookies grinding out victories. I don’t understand the gm he’s only outdone by the islanders gm for some of the bone headest moves in the game. Conacher on waivers, getting rid of chara for redden, not playing my bredren Pageau and Boroweici.The list goes on! We should do better next year I see them getting rid of Gryba and other dmans that have been sucking.

I can understand why they’re talking about that; most of the grumblings have to do with the high-risk style of play that the Sens have, and that ultimately reflects on the coaching. But whereas they could make that style of play “work for them” (albeit in a lockout-shortened season) last year, they simply lack defensive depth. Pageau didn’t really pan out earlier this year as they’d hoped, and Conacher was IMO a clearance sale to make room for Hemsky, who’s awesome and who I really hope they re-sign. Murray should also be regretting getting rid of Elliot, who’s killing it in StL.

Bah, there’s always next year. Not like a Canadian team is ever gonna win a Cup under Bettman’s reign anyways. And at least we’re not the Leafs.

2 days out…

I’ve been taking it easy this week. Went to the gym Tuesday and did a light full body workout with all the powerlifts and some auxiliary stuff. Worked up to around 70% on bench/squat for 3 and then around 60% on deadlift for 3 singles. Did some upper body band work Wednesday. Trying to keep doing pump work for upper as I think part of the reason my bench has failed at meets is due to getting flat the week of.

4/12 - Saturday- Powerlifting Meet!

Heres the vid! Notice the cramp when setting up for my last bench!

Decided I didn’t care what I weighed this time and even had a decent sized breakfast before the morning weigh in. My goal now is to trim some fat and settle around 150-155 and compete in the 148s. 9/9 which means I left a little on the platform, but I got my main goal of getting my 1st 1,000+ total!

Solid lifting man! The leg cramp thing was slightly funny glad it didnt stop you from lifting. 430 dead went up pretty easy hitting all the lifts is key looks like youll have 450 next time you try for a max.

Brilliant stuff all the weights looked like they just flew up my friend a big congratulations on your 1st 1,000+ total :slight_smile:

Niiiiiice work dude, congrats! 9/9 with three PRs is pretty impressive stuff. You should be proud!

Just a sidenote, the officials were pretty eager to keep the meet moving, eh? Looks like they were chomping at the bit to push through a deadlift attempt every 20 seconds.
