Gotta add that half in there so the NFL scouts know what they’re dealing with.
What kind of casket would you like?

Pine.
Have my tombstone read “He only lived once”
The last time I was in India I was a little kid. When I go next year I’ll feel like Godzilla. I have NEVER done a deload with 5/3/1 lol, I think it’s a great idea and I’d probably be deadlifting more if I did that. I guess even speed work with a light % would work well

Maybe you’ll be reincarnated as a black guy. Then you can play any sport…even hockey for crying out loud!

I went about 6 years ago to the Chennai area. One of the best experiences in my life for sure. This is the first legit deload I’ve really done with 531 with the exception of the weeks before my meets. Before I was doing the 5’s percentages with just 3 reps. Probably sufficient for everything but the deadlift. I’m really hoping it moves up with such a light week.

Well…there goes my hope of “shattering” all the NASA records in the 132s! I think its good that this happened though. I’m 5’4 and 132 is to light for me. I should be in either the 148 or even 165 weight classes. So I will now get my weight up around the 155 area and compete in 148. I know my bench and squat will explode up with the weight gain so excited to see what happens! Time to just get big and strong and only be concerned about my own PRs.
Good god. How short is that guy? I have 19 pounds on him, look bigger/leaner, and he lifts almost 100 more than me in each lift.
I’m guessing hes 5’2 I think. Anyway, I’ll consider that whole thing an April fools joke. As it turns out, I won’t be able to train there. I HATE long drives and I came to the conclusion that I don’t need a hardcore gym. I’ve always been a lone wolf and had more than enough discipline and motivation. Was also a money issue.
I’m thinking of doing the BBB 3 month challenge since I’m gaining weight now. I’m gonna really miss front squats though if I do.
Lol why can’t you just do the front squats as BBB? Your quads/upper back/abs will thank you if you have dem der’ atrophied looking quads like me.
I was looking at his training log and it says he does farmer walks with 200 each hand. haha.
brandonsmitley.com if you are interested. It looks like he has competed in bodybuilding too.
It’s ok. I’m his height , weigh more, and he has about 100 more on me each lift as well! ![]()
And MightyMouse, can’t wait to see how the extra weight helps you out. It might just inspire me to pack on the pounds too! Good luck man.
NATHAN LOOK! You have one of those veiny bicep thingies!

Yea, good idea. I was just thinking that you’re suppose to do the BBB challenge as is. But yea, I think I may do that. I love fronts and doing that many reps with low bar would probably make my tendinitis flare up again anyway.

Yea, I checked it out yesterday. Hes pretty impressive indeed. Trains westside style.
I’ve been in the 150s before and remember being able to bench around 245, but that was touch n go. It was also when I didn’t really know how to cycle my intensity and was a little chubby.

You should’ve seen me at the end of my workout. I used my fat gripz on pulldowns, db presses, and curls. I was pretty swole…lol
4/2 - Tuesday - Deadlift C8W1
Smashed a rep PR today! Who knew good things could happen when you actually follow a program? This was the first time that I had actually done the deload as written with the exception of the week before meets. My Dallas Stars just made some pretty big trades. Jagr and Roy are both gone and we got some prospects and draft picks for the future. Hopefully they’ll get it together as they’ve been frustrating to watch lately.
Deadlift:
145 lb x 5
185 lb x 5
215 lb x 3
250 lb x 3
285 lb x 3
325 lb x 10 (Estimated Max- 433. Best rep PR!)
250 lb x 2 x 2
Barbell Shrug:
185 lb x 25 x 2
Front Squat:
95 lb x 10 x 5 (Shoot me now…Was worn out and had to power clean it up)
Manual Leg Curl on calf extension:
5 x 3
Lol those front squats sucked that bad? I plan on doing 185X12 for four sets in a few days :). Oh by the way, do you listen to “just big” radio? Here’s the link http://ftns.co/shows/just-big/ .
I was worn out from my top deadlift set. I also had to power clean the weight up every set since both racks were taken. I’ve heard of big radio but never listened to it much. Thanks for the link.
Dunno how I missed this log. WHY ARE YOU SO STRONG.
