Friday got in cardio and then a good chest session without any shoulder issues. Then hit calves.

I really wanna make the calves grow so trying this a couple 2-3 times a week:
SEATED RAISES
STANDING RAISES
DONKEY RAISES

Pausing at top and bottom. Doing 5 sets min each but usually more of standing raises

Noticed I’m bad to not write in my last few sets and till right to the next exercise. Did 4 of the skull crusher SS and 4 of the v bar push downs.

Meadows calves with 20 sec rest between sets are punishing - I like them a lot

    -BN DB press 30 / 40 x 5 sets

-standing - 20 sec rest between sets
- hold 2 sec at top
- 10 sets

I’m still fighting to put weight on - 7 meals yesterday - gonna be a garbage disposal again today.
Was 233 yesterday…

@jackolee I finished biceps w the 100 attempt w 35…I was seeing stars and arms wouldn’t go after 90 lol good shit man

Not logical at all but I find it easier to finish if around 20 reps left I start counting down. Just feels slightly more manageable counting from 20 down to 1.

After 50 I was counting them 1-10 seemed easier

Cardio and chest yesterday. Been doing nothing but inclined presses trying to build up and not damage shoulder - was able to throw in some light flat bench presses yesterday with no ill effects.

Training Legs in an hour after I download some more coffee…

If shoulder is bugging ya why not do dumbbells or cables rather than straight barbell work?

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing since Jan - and slowly incorporated inc barbells and then yesterday flat barbell. Just a little at a time I guess

Sunday funday here.

Went ahead and did 30 cardio then trained hams and quads. Stayed at 225 today and squated sets of 15/13/10/8 then 200 for 10/8

Normally don’t train calves w legs but plenty of time so 18 sets later I’m feeling punished. 2.25 hr session.

Yeah I just recently found your log and haven’t played catch-up. Hope adding in the flat bar treats you ok!

That’s one hell of a leg session. Man I can’t wait to squat again!
