Please see below re oral body temperatures to eval overall thyroid function and iodine intake issues. Are you using iodize salt? Low thyroid function creates most of the same effects as low T.
It is TRT here, not THR.
Doctors there and in other Common Wealth countries are particularly useless and restricted.
Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.
KSman is simply a regular member on this site. Nothing more other than highly active.
I can be a bit abrupt in my replies and recommendations. I have a lot of ground to cover as this forum has become much more active in the last two years. I can’t follow threads that go deep over time. You need to respond to all of my points and requests as soon as possible before you fall off of my radar. The worse problems are guys who ignore issues re thyroid, body temperatures, history of iodized salt. Please do not piss people off saying that lab results are normal, we need lab number and ranges.
The value that you get out of this process and forum depends on your effort and performance. The bulk of your learning is reading/studying the suggested stickies.
No country is more against TRT than Australia, TRT isn’t impossible just difficult. You must become more educated than doctors in order to vet them, internet is a power tool. You likely need to go private. State healthcare systems are mostly useless, very few doctors understand or have the skill to do TRT even in the USA.
HMO’s are useless here, private doctors who are cash pay only know how to help.
The more I deal with doc in Australia the more I see your point.
if someone can point me to a private doc that knows what they are doing that will be great.
I really appreciate the time you take to answer not just to me but to all.
Seriously only because people like you the knowledge is shared so again thank you.
I have my blood result but I will find the ranges before I post them.
In addition I also order some book about testosterone “The testosterone Syndrome” which I cant wait to read.
and of course per your suggestion the “iodize salt” I am going to read about it I never saw anything before referring to this but this forum.
I read a lot in this forum but I am going to read more in TR category,
Do you want me to put my information here or under a different category ? please let me know and I will post my story .
again thank you all for helping really appreciate this.
