Thoughts on Animal Pak?

Due to being out the house for 15+ hours a day (work and training), and having a family I am probably not hitting the micros i should be. I rarely eat much veg, but i do try and get fruit down range every day.

I remember when i was deployed before i bought animal pak , and it used to turn my piss bright yellow. Not sure if this was a good thing, but it made me feel as though it was doing something.

Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on it? i know it will never replaces veggies but is it worth taking to supplement, or am i better off pissing the money down the drain?

Apologies for the grossness, but when I took Animal Pak for some weeks, I kept having the massive shits. Essentially, I think It was just the sheer amount of vitamin mixtures they have jam packed in that formulation, but if you find you don’t have a sensitivity to things like that I don’t think it would be an issue, but I would say to not lean so heavily on it being your main source of getting your micros in.

I too don’t always eat a decent amount of veggies, but I at least to eat some with every meal. Don’t gotta get fancy either, I just throw whatever 1-2 veggies of my choice into whatever I’m eating and call it day.

Just a ton of B2 that your body can’t process. Nothing special. I think your money is best spent elsewhere. I’m not big on supplements in general, but if you had to have a supplement and you were looking to replace veggies, there are “superfood” supplements that are just a ton of powdered veggies.

But most of all, I think you could just make some changes to your routine to get a more balanced diet in, whether it be by meal prepping or by getting your veggies in while you’re at home.
