Seriously, nobody wants to watch an Ant man film
Ant-Man is still in development. Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) is still attached as director, with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) writing. If it happens it’ll be post-Avengers, like the proposed SHIELD/ Nick Fury movie. Avengers will most likely be an intro for Pym, and possibly pave the way for a Hawkeye solo outing if things go as planned (otherwise they wouldn’t have tagged Jeremy Renner for a supporting role: he’s probably signed for a pay-or-play deal for a Hawkeye movie. Nic Cage got $20 million for the aborted Tim Burton Superman movie he was supposed to star in).
So I guess currently Avengers is Filming, but Chris Hemsworth looks pretty small at the moment. I dun get it how can play his Char Thor if hes small like he currently is?
It would’ve been easier for him just to keep the weight between Thor and Avengers than lose it then have to build back up again. I checked IMDb to see if he had to lose the weight for another role, but the two movies listed after Thor were made before he landed the role (they were held back for release). Weird.
Badass movie 4 stars. My only tiy gripe is Volstagg should have been bigger. He’s Volstagg the volumious one, and he’s one of my favorite marvel b list characters(my favorite is Ben Foster aka Black Goliath). Also isn’t it cool to be able to hear the correct pronounciation of characters and the like? Heimdel I always put the stress on the last part of the name and it’s actually neither.

Here is Hemsworth. The difference is striking.
I read a few articles where they said he had to lose some muscle because the Thor costume was too small, you can actually see it in the Hammer scene vs that picture. I thought he was big enough I actually thought Volstag was too small though.

STEROIDS!
That one line made me hate the writer. I guess they will pull the same stunt in Captain America.
Either way, I liked it…a lot. I did not expect them to make that concept grounded in reality at all…but they did.
Didn’t you get the memo?..
Steroids let people stay at home all day, sit on the couch, eat whatever they want, and poof they are fucking jacked and ripped. Yep, pop a pill, shoot a needle, take a nap, and presto you are comic book hero huge in no time.

Yeah not gonna lie when they said that I went “what the fuck” in the theatre.

Ugh, still not interested in seeing that shit.
Looking forward to a Nick Fury film as well as a Hawkeye film would be awesome!
Fuck Nic Cage. His son is a fuckin’ flamer (“Drrrr… I take it the steroids and sing to the trees!”) and his ex is a textbook example of “dumb blonde.”
They Should make Nick Fury with The Punisher, as a reboot to Punisher and a intro to Nick Fury

This would be awesome as all hell. I’m for this. Can I play the Punisher? If they never do it I’d like to put together a film like that. I actually have the training and resources/equipment to do it as well, but would need a screenwriter.

They just got the rights back for Punisher from Sony so maybe. WHat they really need is to have the Marvel Knights characters be R rated, ghost rider, punisher, and wolverine where all trash because of the lack of an R.

I would love to see a Hank Pym based film and it sucks he’s not going to be in Avengers. I believe a Hank Pym movie could be really cool, he’s so much better than the average shrinking hero he can grow, shrink cause others to do the same a genius in AI and unlike Hawkeye a founding member of the Avengers.

X2 is even funnier, if you watch the deleted scenes with Singer he discusses the WOlverine rage scene in the kitchen and how they had to cut it because they had to make it look like he didn’t kill the soldier. After that watch the movie and there it claws pop out goes in soldier blood on fridge he dead.
Finally got around to seeing it this afternoon and thought it was great. I really liked the thor/destroyer fight even though it was short, it looked amazing. Now onward to captain america.
