Jesus. Is it really THAT hard to find somebody who isn’t a bitch to play in superhero movies? This guy has a decent build, but that’s it. Nothing godly about it. After this, and the whole Conan clusterfuck, it makes me wonder, who is casting these things?!
Especially Thor, what a no-brainer. You need some jacked, big ass nordic looking mother fucker? Have you even HEARD of the world’s strongest man?! Magnus Samuelsson grows his hair out for a year, and you’ve got the most perfect thor you could ever ask for.
This is pretty lol. Apparently the fact that the guy probably can’t act is what held him back.
Not even that, but this guy isn’t Toby McGwire. This is a big improvement from BPittIFC.
I would really like to see how many crickets I can hear if we made a rule that only people more developed than the actor can complain about his lack of size.
IF he is bigger than me, why does he need CGI muscles?
as for acting ability, when has that ever held someone back? Have you guys ever heard of Keanu Reeves? Halle Berry? Channing Tatum?

Again, for the umpteenth time. There’s no CGI muscles, he was joking. Humor, etc.
If you go up, I already posted an interview video, were you can clearly see the dude isn’t small, and the director talks about his preparation for the role.

From the above interview with Chris Hemsworth:
Q: This is a physically demanding role. What preparation did you have to do?
CH: It was a lot of protein shakes and chicken breast, a lot of calories, a lot of food, a lot of working out and trying to get as much rest as you can. That’s the other 1/3 of the equation. I put on 20 pounds and lost a lot of it since shooting purely from not eating that amount.
Q: Are there prosthetics involved too?
CH: Well, the costume is a big heavy chainmail leather costume, but when it’s me, it’s me. It’s not fake arms
Q: What was your training to become the god of thunder?
CH: It was a lot of weight work and a lot of protein shakes and chicken and fish and steak and food. That was exhausting, the eating.
Q: Sounds awesome.
CH: Yeah, it was awesome when you throw up. Working out wasn’t the hardest part. It was the food intake.
