This is What Going Viral Feels Like?

One of my bands made another video, and got as many views in a week as our previous one got in four months with basically the same promotion. It seems to be getting passed around by people, reposted on random forums (even 4chan, haha). We also get all kinds of angry or just plain confused Youtube comments - about a quarter of all the comments are nothing more than some variation of “wtf is this?”

Promotion used to be stuff you had to do yourself, but now people we don’t know are doing it for me, including people who seem to really really hate us and hate what we do.

Kinda weird, but it’s got its benefits. For example, a girl who recorded a bit of spoken vocals on one track with us last year and then decided to go join some rock band instead has asked if she can work with us after all, and spent this afternoon recording with me. The biggest surprise was that I found a picture on somebody else’s Myspace with our logo photoshopped onto a half-naked woman’s stomach. Don’t know the guy who made it at all, he’s just friends a guy who did a remix of this track for us last week…

Interesting… I wonder how long it will keep going before it dies down. Another month and we might be as hated as BrokeNCYDE, Millionaires or Attack Attack!

And here is the vid:

wtf is this?

viral=3,000 views?

seriously

wtf is going on…

It’s a medley of country songs performed in a crunkcore style… you know, like BrokeNCYDE and other bands that people really, really, REALLY hate. Nothing to be confused by.

I went viral once… itchy.

Haha, some guy hates us so much he recorded a diss track about us:
