I’m certainly not replacing my Flameouts at any time soon, I just figured this might be worthwhile, simply from a fiber/antioxidant point of view to add to my regular diet,… and if increased satiety is the result, then I know it’s something to work into my next prep.
That’s interesting to consider breakdown in the digestive tract… I doubt that I’ll be taking any chia seeds before my Anaconda though, the big plus of the FINiBARs or SWF is the quick absorption (I still can’t believe that I can eat 3 'bars and then train heavy!), so even if the Chia Seeds weren’t forming a gel, I wouldn’t want anything (any food items) to be in my gut maybe me feel especially ‘full’ before the Anaconda (I still put down the full 2L of water each session).
SO far, I’ve only been using them with my morning oatmeal, and it does make you feel like you ate a bit more. I’m curious what other people think of them, uses, effects etc. I’m going to try a Peanut Butter cookie recipe that was on Tate’s site a few weeks back,… I’ll probably throw in some Chia, and Met Drive and see what happens (I know what’ll happen,… I’ll get HYOOGE!!! -lol)
