If the shaved thing is too much, start with a buzz cut. That will let you know if your head has any dents/ ridges that would look odd if you shaved.
And women dig it - I get my head rubbed by women all the time.
This doesn’t make much sense to me but since mine was thinning too, I went ahead and shaved it off. Now it’s grown back thicker than before.
