Low and high are relative terms. The depth of scientific knowledge is more of a puddle than an ocean when it comes to this subject. If you feel lousy at the lower estrogen, it’s probably wrong for you individually. Low E2 is worse than high E2 as far as I’m concerned.
This is because your ratio was off. I did a little test to see if vitamin D affected my estradiol, it did. In about 5 days, 5k iu a day dropped my e2 from 46 on trough to 31 on peak.
I instantly knew something was wrong , although 31 is still not a “bad” e2 number, I felt the difference.
So if I feel good at this level, any concerns/danger walking around with “high” e2 levels (on paper)?

I was having problems with my e2 being flushed all the time on TRT.
Anything that affects liver clearance of e2, if I ingest it enough, will flush out all my e2. It sucks.
Tumeric (curcumin) for sure did it. Vitamin D. and some others, but not 100% which. Vitamin b2/b12
That could explain some things. I don’t tolerate curcumin or ginger at all. If I get either one in any quantity I get a nosebleed and then violently angry (like my wife talking me out of pulling two guys out of a car at Walmart because I thought they looked at me funny).
do you have higher SHBG?
yes, a lot of the times I would be confused as to why I was super aggressive, like, over the top aggressive over nothing. Its not like me, so I knew something was off.
I actually have no idea what my SHBG is, having trouble getting it tested where I am at the moment. I have been struggling to understand my reaction to these things for a few years.Especially the aggression because I’m normally a big teddy bear.
So I need to figure out a way to get it down, without whatever shitty sides I’m getting from doing so…sounds like riding at this level isn’t a good idea?

Oh. No. I’ve been sweating at night but it’s also getting warmer so may be nothing. Other than that, i feel great. Just didn’t know if there’s danger/if it’s unhealthy to let it stay this high (prostate, etc).
I also started sweating at night recently, im sure its because of the temperature change.
If you start getting itchy nipples, or lessened piss stream, then its time to look at lowering it. Otherwise if you feel good, don’t mess with it.
Just got off the phone with Defy. They’re keeping me at 150mg (140 dropped my TT a good amount) but 3 times a week to help e2 slightly. No more AI.
Since going back to Subq this is happening to me. It seems to be corresponding with my bloat going down.
Do you prefer subq?
Can’t say just yet. I will update my log in a few weeks. I went back to Subq because I’ve had fat/water around/in belly since im.
Can’t draw Any conclusion yet. It’s also possible it’s the thyroid meds doing it.
I have hope that I think the bloat look is going down.
