Things That Piss You Off

I like this! Choose your own favourite ending to the phrase: “No one has to be…”! Dressed? Sober? Sane? Natty? Normal? Alive?

I’m pissed off that Texas was so comitted to slavery that they ceded land to Oklahoma and now we ended up with a state that makes me worried I left a pot on the stove everytime I see it.

Shit, you little bundle of joy with your movie recommendations.

Kalifornia was hilarious though.

So I guess I have to watch this now.

I can’t wait to watch that one.

I’m glad the pendulum swung far away from sparkling.

Movie was okay but didn’t live up to my expectations. The book did a better job explaining what happened.

Ya it was long… often a bit dull but overall I liked the cinematography, Orlock’s look and demeanor… obviously evil… the darkness of the scenery

That’s a good way of describing it - darkness. I hadn’t really considered that but it definitely added to the mood.

Literally dark. Very effective imagery. Could never really see him until the end.

This . . this is me.

I feel for you man. You have great talent, amazing experience, and a passion for your work.

But then people get involved.

I used to love making the church stuff. I could turn up the tunes, had an entire fab shop at my fingertips, and not a single person in site, but for my coworkers. Very seldom would anybody from outside of the industry show up inside our shop. It was like an insulated environment. I could just put my head down, chug coffee and make awesome shit.

Everything must now be done through an God damn app!

That rarely work

I was never a fan of QR code menus at some restaurants.

That’s why I loved being a prep cook. Show up at 4 am, knock out a huge list, then start setting up other people’s stations to suprise them.

Yeah, these suck. It’s a cost cutting measure disguised as a health benifit. No consumer likes them.

What’s the health benefit?

I would assume to lessen the spread of viruses.

It was a covid thing to prevent cross-contamination, but not having to print menus lowered costs.

Oh I didn’t even think of that.

How much money does one possibly save by not printing menus? Like actually, is it really worth it?
