Things That Piss You Off

I know. I don’t like all the extra hassle. I ordered new tabs for my car a month and a half ago. Still haven’t showed up.

So I can go to the MN DMV in person, which is a huge PITA, or use their online portal. I am trying to use the latter, but you can’t just register online (not for tabs mind you, for an account to their stupid website). I have requested a user name and log in, and they are sending me a letter in the mail with a code to verify my account. All of this just to check on the status of my tabs. What a PITA. Pisses me off.

I should just be able to put my car’s info in when I file taxes and have it taken care of then. All of this effort on my part, so I feel like I am paying less taxes, and it doesn’t even work, because I recognize this stuff as taxes.

Do you buy things to live? Fuel, food, etc.? That should be plenty for the government to run on - if it were run correctly.

If you did, you would probably vomit.

Yes, but less so as a percent of my income than most people.

It’s likely in the 40%-50% range. It is kinda tough to imagine that we run deficits when they are taking such a high percent of GDP. Someone somewhere (likely a lot of them in DC) is making a lot of money off of all of this.

Arizona driver’s license is good until my 65th birthday (I’m in my 30s).

Nothing wrong with that.

Freedom.

I would say this is correct easily. Of course they are. Both sides are fucking us all - all the way to the bank. Special interests, friends, etc. are getting fat of our “tax” money.

They also just get to click buttons and magically make trillions to spread around the world and back into their pockets.

I get home from work yesterday. They are building $1.5 million dollar homes on a new “addition” behind us. So, after 20 years, we have new neighbors. Or will. It gets windy where we live. But, I do not think that should be an excuse for all of the product wrapping the builders take off the pallets should end up stuck to my fence, in my back yard, pinned by the wind to the side of my house. Stuck to my rancher neighbor’s fence. They should have some responsibility for their trash.

Yeah, they should. Developers in this region are scrambling for every square inch they can find to build on right now.

I didn’t move into this area for its beautiful swaths of tract homes and town houses.

I moved here because of their absence.

It’s the damndest thing.

Kind of relevant. On a personal note, I have never met a developer who I thought was a decent person.

To be fair, I meet very few people I think are decent regardless of their profession lol…

Look on the bright side, it will provide housing for all of the Democrats moving there.

Agreed. Continuing to build in the swamp at an insane rate. I bet florida sees a lot more sinkholes swallowing houses soon.
All that groundwater getting pumped around is going to wreak havoc.

I would not call that bright side, lol

Have you . . . have you been to Florida?

Yes.

Loons from NY, CA, etc. are flooding other states after completely ruining where they came from only to do the same shit where they do.

Wrong. We’re just starting to return people who moved to CA and fucked it up back to where they came from…

Not so pissed… but annoyed.
Apparently my " bro science " is begining to clash with my oldest sons academic view point.
