Things That Piss You Off

You’re forgetting the civil war… and the purges…and the famine(s)…

I know there’s more. All of those numbers come from things in which the US were involved.

Studying the USSR completely changed my perspective on casualty figures…
and consequently even more misanthropic than I was

You know what they say in Russia.

You can’t make an omelette without breaking 144 eggs.

And then shooting the egg farmer for not meeting quotas.

And then reporting to the government that you’ve made 17 omelettes.

And no one gets to eat it.

A guy got shot for being the first to stop clapping after one of Stalin’s speeches

On the flip side, Stalin was a great father to his daughter… until she started dating a Jew…

  • She wrote a book “20 letters to a friend” where she shares her experiences (with original letters/telegrams). Some of those sounded creepily similar to the way my dad interacted with me…

When people you know well start acting fake. There’s not a lot of things that piss me off… but that almost sends me into a rage, because they are close to me and should know better.

People who think people “act fake” … people change man … people grow and regress … I pity those who strive for stagnation …

However if by act fake you mean are dishonest … yes those people can eat a bad of moldy dicks

I’m talking about when they get a self righteous attitude, I’m talking an overnight, drastic change that not only I notice but others as well. It equally bothers me for the reason that they are setting themselves up for failure and I don’t want that for them. I care deeply for my friends. Something or someone has made their thinking become irrational and impulsive, saying things they would never normally say, being meaner and overly agitated for no good reason.

The only people I’ve seen exhibit that type of behavior are diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Facebook. You can tell exactly what is important to a person based on their Facebook posts. So if all you post is selfies, then I assume you only care about yourself.

I also have a co-worker who posts nothing but food. Clearly, it’s one of the reasons he gets up everyday. His partially replaced knee doesn’t seem to like it, though.

(I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned that second one before but I’m irritated by it again)

This prompted me to see what I’ve posted on Facebook. Which apparently is very little. I thought it was a secret I hate the world and other humans, but my facebook profile is agreeing with this :joy:

Some of my more recent ones:

Soft taco/egg, cheddar & sautéed red peppers

I like the fine china.

Another thing that pissed me off - my “I’m tired of being hungry and don’t care if I have abs” approach to food is getting away from me. I now have the early stages of a belly roll while standing. It’s time to pump the brakes but we have several pounds of Halloween candy in the house.

I didn’t hire a former SCOTUS clerk and top student because she signed her name “Jane Doe, Esquire”. Great resume, presentable, politically-connected.

I just knew she’d be an insufferable twat.

hate to break it to you but I think she was lying about her name as well … no one uses “Jane Doe” except unknown stiffs…

Read about Mao’s China then. The numbers are so high they don’t seem possible.

My grandparents were professors specializing in Mao Zedong thought… the numbers are definitely real… and unimaginable for those who didn’t experience it

Dress socks that don’t stay up because I have calves.

It’s annoying.

It pisses me off that I don’t have that problem.

If there was a “things that make you sad” thread, this would also be relevant there.
