these are my offenders for today

How/Why does your hair get ā€œdirty quicklyā€ … like by playing sports or something?

carbohydrates can be beneficial. And even pasta can be eaten.

Uh…what?

Carbohydrates are a necessary part of each person’s diet. They are important for maintaining energy and activity throughout the day. Complex carbohydrates are a source of fiber. They improve digestion and provide the body with a long-lasting sense of satiety. Foods with complex carbohydrates are whole grains and cereals, starchy vegetables and legumes.

OK, cool. I think you might be in the wrong thread though, haha.

Maybe not. maybe he’s trying to piss off the people in here on strict low carb diets … you know, like market research or somethin’

@T3hPwnisher probably has a fitting picture for this:

Perhaps of a certain someone who advocates no carbs…?

I applogize for the way I acted a few days ago. It was very childish and I was getting worked up for no reason. I also used very offensive language. I would like to continue posting my log on here. I will no longer ask for dating tips. I know it’s an internet forum, but I can’t help thinking about the way I acted. Not very christian either. @dt79 @anna_5588 (I tried tagging everyone but it didn’t work)

Thanks dude. We knew you weren’t like that, but the apology proves that.

You don’t have to apologize to me. I thought it was just a harmless back and forth between us. You did, however, get over-emotional, which was to your detriment, not mine. Work on that. It’ll be of great benefit to you no matter what you do.

Factually incorrect

certainly useful for it.

So are lots of other things.

Inconsistent results in the research I’ve seen reported. In isolation from other macronutrients they seem to be very poor for long term satiation.

They do, though, appear to be optimal for high output athletic performance, they certainly do taste damn good too.

I like carbs, but this was a lot of junior school biology nonsense.

I am extremely pissed off at my school, Harvard.

They’ve decided that it is perfectly OK to discriminate against applicants because of the color of their skin – in this case, Asians (and also, to a lesser degree, white people).

They did this against Jewish applicants for years, and we sued them until they finally stopped doing it (or at least doing it openly).

Lawyers for Asian applicants recently sued, but lost yesterday in an opinion I can only compliment by how artfully the judge opined that Asians are boring, lack personality, and study too hard – and so they need to make room for less qualified, but gregarious and different colored, people.

Such garbage. I’m ashamed of my school. I’m also ashamed of the judge. Bigot in a black robe.

I think he’s trying to reply to the first post in the thread, which talked about carbs. That first post (which is from 2011) is also the only post that member ever made on this site. That pisses me off.

Uh-huh.

You had a tantrum, but recognizing that an apology is appropriate is a mature decision. Although, there’s zero doubt you specifically owe EmilyQ a direct apology, too, after your comments and thread title attempt.

The most significant gesture would be to appreciate the advice you were given by dozens of members in that thread and respect their time and effort by putting that advice into action, otherwise the apology is absolutely hollow.

They sent me yet another letter asking for money today.

I’ve written a response that my paralegal advised I sleep on before sending.

She’s correct.

Well since our beloved chili thread has died, I wanted to share a picture of my dinner last night, as a representation of proper Texas dining. I’m going to say I’m within bounds of the original topic here, as chili with beans pisses me off. So, here is what chili should be:

No beans, just meat, with diced white onions and cheese added. Those are optional, as are diced jalapenos.

Also appearing on my plate are fried okra, and chicken fried steak. If you’re not from the south, there’s a good chance you’re not familiar with either. Both are fantastic.

And, the accompanying whiskey:
