Iām not sure where you live, but Academy Sports fits the bill for me. Their brand, BCG, is usually $10 per pair and they have basketball shorts and training shorts. The training shorts have different inseams. I have three pairs and theyāre perfect. Theyāre not going to last forever, though. Power and hang cleans seem to scrape the material a bit. I donāt mind because Iāll still get several years out of them.
I think I have the BCG Menās Turbo Basic Shorts.
I just bought two pair of Under Armour shorts at one of their outlets for like $18/ea.
What pisses me off is that most sweat pants are tapered these days and I canāt stand that look or feel. Itās like, bitch get off my shins.

I donāt think there is any great conspiracy going on; they just figured out that fame and notoriety were not useful, so they just went about quietly being rich. Theyāve mastered the art of inter-generational wealth. So people make up stories to fill the rather uninteresting story of ābuy low, great-grandchildren sell highā.
They bought huge chunks of what-is-now Israel from various private landowners in the Ottoman Empire/the Sultan WAY WAY back and pretty much gave it away because they were very concerned we were a people without a home.
Of course, it was not entirely altruistic. I think I paid more for my modest vineyard than they paid for the entire area, 200 years ago.

Plus they all seem to be too short. Maybe itās just the womenās ones but they all fall above my ankle. I end up looking special needs.

Thank Christ for Sports Direct over here. Nike/Adidas/etc. shorts for a fiver or little more.

Soccer shorts are usually tighter. I mostly wear shorts that hit right above the knee and theyāre not skintight, but still tight, and Iām not huge. I donāt think thatās much of a stretch to believe.
I know I feel special needs but I thought I managed to fly below the radar. Itās disappointing that I havenāt.

True, depends on the brand though. Most Adidas soccer shorts are loose around the thigh. Pumaās tend to be tight though I think.
