I accidentally ate 20 mcnuggets one time when I was a waifish 7 yr old, didnt even puke, and still cant bear to eat one
My mom continues to ignore basic physiology.
Sheās convinced that Iāve lost actual weight in the past 2 days and when I tried to explain that I need a calorie deficit of at least 7000 cal over those 2 days to actually loose weight, she got angry and said āI hate it when you go into details about numbers. At your weight, eating any less will make you loose weightā WTF!!!
The thing is, I havenāt even actually lost weight!
That is not true though.
This doesnāt make ANY SENSE whatsoever. Your mother is worried about you, and given the substance of your posts on here, I donāt blame her.
Really? I thought 1lb was around 3500 calories, which is why ppl recommend a 500 cal/day deficit to lose 1lb/week
Losing 1lb of fat requires a roughly 3500 calorie deficit.
1lb of weight loss requires no deficit at all. Weight can fluctuate big time with water, salt, BMs, (womenās cycles) etc. Ask anyone who ever competed in a sport with weigh ins.
You said:
Thatās why @lucasmon was busting your chops.
Eating less will make you lose weight. This is a basic physiological fact.
How often do you weigh yourself?
Itās not a fact if you havenāt established the bar by which to measure ālessā ā¦
If youāre implying eating less calories, well how many calories less? If Iām in a 500 calorie surplus yesterday, and I eat 250 calories less today, I have eaten less, yet the math will dictate I will not lose weight, even sustained over time using the 500 calorie surplus from yesterday as my benchmark.
So, I think what youāre meaning to say is if I eat at a caloric deficit I will lose weight and thatās a physiological fact ⦠how you stated it is ambiguousā¦
I hate it when you go into details with numbers.
But Yeah, thatās what I was trying to say, hamfistedly
itās a curse bruh

Asian mothers will be Asian mothers
Could be worse. If you need examples, I could tell you, or you could just flip through a Bible.
Sorry if I wasnāt being clear, I meant fat loss. Also, my scale weight hasnāt changed either
You want to be an economist you better start getting clear little sister
agreed
I hate illogical people and those who take things too seriously.
Hate is serious business.
Sepp Blatter, the absolute leech.
It pisses me off when someone rolls in without doing any research into costs, man hours, start up fees, etc etc for a new business (in this case a new 24/7 gym in our very small town) This is fantastic, and I am all for capitalism and competition, but I have now had more questions about why Iām not running my gym in a certain way, why we charge what we charge, why we donāt have day care, why we arenāt open more, why we donāt have 24/7 access, and I try and explain costs, and the fact that we are attached to a non-profit PT clinic, that we barely make money as it is (we have very low/competitive pricing due to low income in the area). I guess what pisses me off, is that someone rolls in to āfeel outā how people would like this new gym, people get all up in arms (I did some snooping, mostly people Iāve never seen in the gym in the 3.5 years Iāve been here, have no record of them even signing up here) about what my gym lacks and so on and so forth (we know what we lack, which is another reason our prices are lower than average gym prices.)
Usually this kind of stuff doesnāt get to me, but fuck me dead is it annoying right now.
Edit: Also, I appreciate this thread, because it allows me to vent here and resist my urge to engage people on social media, ha.
That was always fun with my retail business working shows. Theyād always compare us to one of 2 or 3 industry leaders who move hundreds of millions of dollars of product each.
āThis pound of gun powder is $1 cheaper on Midway.ā
āFunny, I donāt see Midway here today. What do you pay in hazmat fees to get that powder to your house after you buy from midway? You know the hazmat fees I already absorbed for you and included in that dollar.ā
