Your voices were heard!
I got this from my wife at Valentines day! It made me happy knowing she supports my training journey!
Must make sure to consult my doctor then! ![]()
That could be a board game too!
Pick a card and do the movement for the number of reps before time runs out
.
Move number rolled on dice spaces. Each space is one of like 5 things that makes the card harder, like “hold your breath” or something.
First one to get from start to finish wins.
Yeah, like Fitness meets Yahtzee meets Survivor!
That’s very happy-making! And I do like @SkyzykS game idea, minus the don’t-breathe part, lol.
And it could be named “Survival Of The Fittest!” !
Thank you.
This is that synergistic collaboration that people talk about, isn’t it?
OMG, that’s actually excellent! And we could call the dice “die-ce.”
Very productive research week
I’m excited that spring is here - or coming or whatever - but I don’t think a snowstorm will ever NOT make me feel like an excited little kid. Fluffy snow makes me happy.
My son had his first pinewood derby today. He had a fun time with me and his grandpa learning how to use tools and woodworking while building it.
He won one race, but got the award for “Most Unique.” It was kind of obvious that his was the only one where the kid was given complete creative control.
Nice!
That is usually the case. Except for one year, I saw a kid win the whole thing, and all he had done was put the wheels on. It was just a block with wheels.
I can respect that IDGAF attitude.
Today you could tell that the dads did 99% of the work - all the other cars were perfect and looked like something you could buy in a toy shop. Everyone was talking about strategies to maximize weight and aerodynamics.
Calm down, it’s just hot wheels on steroids.
I’m happy that my son got another chance to have his creativity and ideas recognized as his own, and celebrated.
I like how the two guys up top are goose-stepping their way to victory!
We just kept getting happier and happier about the snow yesterday:
Friend and I walked around LA for the better part of 8 hours today
It’s great to have someone who will do that, is also willing to watch war movies and provides code support
Dodging needles, roach particles and piles of excrement ?
Lol
we spend a LOT of time complaining about LA
We have that in D.C too
My 5 year old daugther made this drawing of a peacock lifting weights. It made my day! I assume it is the upright position in a deadlift. ![]()
Looks more like the third pull in a snatch.
Right so! I missed out on the wide grip…
Several things and people make me happy, but probably raising my kids with my wife and those who help us makes me the most fulfilled. Long ago I posted a picture of them because I think most people on T-mag are normal, unlike some forums of basket cases, and I saw some others having the same trust in posting their kids. This is an update of them.
