Things That Make You Happy

That’s just a revealed preference; while there’s certainly science to cooking (physics) there’s probably more art to it than anything … at least with finer cuts people seem to have more personalized preferences

Fly fishing. Went fly fishing for the first time in about 20 years and caught the hell out of some brook trout and one nice rainbow. Don’t know why I ever stopped.

Bringing my dog to bed. She is going on 15 and can’t quite get the stairs anymore. So I carry her upstairs to her bed. By now she is so used to this routine, that she will get upset if I’m not home and another family member carries her. Likewise I will interrupt anything for her bed time if I am home.

Well… goats produce tasty milk and cheese, help mow the lawn, get rid of trash and are quite delicious themselves
Certainly more useful than I could be to any man :joy:

Well, you could cook from scratch, mow the lawn, and take out the trash, but that’s not at all what he was implying.

Are they? Never had goat before - purely by their looks I would assume their meat isn’t that great.

goat stew is amazing, so is goat curry. The meat can be quite tough, but that’s no match for hours of slow cooking in a good pot

It’s a lot like lamb. Very good.

Goat curry from a good Indian place is the best introduction

I love eye-fucking litterers as I pick up the trash they just threw on the ground. So far, nobody’s done shit except look away.
