They Rapin' Everybody Out Here!

Yeah I hear what your saying man. And I’m not trying to smack the lollipops out of anyones mouth to keep them from having a sucking good time. I’m not expecting to change the internets view of what’s funny. Hell I’ll even admit it’s funny in a very fucked up way, but it’s fucked up.

We, you know most will never get it, and by the response on that dreads-bleach comment I know you understand when we see something stupid or fucked up we have every right to call it what it is.

I can only understand that being compared to a group who hate filled beliefs resulted in the almost genocide of an entire people in Europe must be fucked up.

So I don’t expect you to understand how fucked up that first video is. I mean on both sides the fool in front of the camera and the fools behind the camera and producers who green lighted the airing of it.

Trust Me I know most will never an can never understand.
LOL. I’ve been saying the same shit for years but since it is usually only me or Big Boss with that voice on this forum, I usually get accused of “finding racism” since everyone else is apparently blind to the effects of in your face bias.
I had the same reaction as four60 and was going to make a well laid out post but then I remembered that this is the internet. It’s unrealistic to think that a few words are actually going to open people’s eyes to the buffoonery that is so commonplace in today’s media.

Why not start somewhere? From what I’ve learned from this site, most of the dudes don’t even know any black people. Their entire view of culture or styles is based off of the same crap we are discussing now. This is why some jackass actually needs to be told that bleaching dred locks is a fucking bad idea…or that guys laughing at black dudes in the locker room for putting on lotion are retarded.

No one anywhere is comparing all white people to some stand up comedian’s look at “rednecks” yet they will leap forward to act like they are the same.

If you felt it enough to start writing, why didn’t you follow through until someone else spoke up?
I’m part hispanic, during the spring and summer I get very dark, and I live in a Dallas suburb with white as the majority by far. Whenever spring comes I will notice a change in how some people act around me. Older white women will sometimes purposely take the long way to their destination in order to not have to walk right by me. I’ve even seen a couple of worried purse clutches in the last year. Some of them might be stereotyping me, but hey, fuck them, right? It doesn’t even remotely bother me. That’s the best mindset, I think.

That being said, why did everyone start being so serious?

im not understanding the bleaching dreads thing?

It’s funny you say that, I played volleyball in HS, my Sophomore Year a black family transferred into our shcool. I think they were the 3rd or 4th in my immediate grade range. Anyways, one of the kids who was a senior tried out for the Volleyball team. He was a bit of a nerd but overall a real nice guy. So he’s constantly putting lotion on like before and after practice and I’m like what are you some type of girl or something, my sister doesn’t go put that much lotion on. He laughed and told me if he didn’t put lotion on a couple times per day, especially over the winter that his skin would dry out and get much lighter like his brothers (who happened to be in my grade).

Now he didn’t yell at me for not knowing, he simply explained it to someone who had not had the experience of a man putting on lotion before. I gave him an AHHHHHHHHH, like ok I get it. and we wen’t out and crushed some volleyballs. Also I’m just sayin, kid didn’t even play sports, his uncle made him do this and he was instantly the highest jumper on the team.

It is possible to educate people on cultural differences without showing your anger at someones lack of knowledge. It’s not like people get to pick where they are born and who raises them in what environment. Yea, a 30 year old should have enough world experience to not hold too many predjudices, but I would much rather give anyone in the 13-22 range a free pass and educate them. Consequently, this seems to be a pretty large segment of this site, so there’s that.

These fuckers are getting those remixes out fast. However my hat has to go to the first kid that has the Young Bill Gates look.

This guy is funny and has an original authentic personnality. I am sure he is more interesting than most people here and I am sure I would like him better in person than most of the people in this forum who are trying so bad to fit the t-man ideal.

Who cares if he is black? He could be white it would be as funny. Now for the people who are associating the individual to the group you need stop that.

I missed it… what is the problem with putting on lotion???

Ask waylander. He was the one who made the post months back about laughing at some black guy for doing it. I just know he isn’t the only one who finds anything even slightly culturally different as so funny and strange that it deserves giggles.

I don’t have any black friends so it was interesting for me to learn about the lotion and “ashy” skin thing. Do most black people apply lotion very regularly?

If Way’s upbringing was anything like mine, then most likley he associated slathering lotion on to the female members of his family. I don’t see why this is such a shock to you that other people find cultural differences funny. 90% of almost any comedians material is made up of overdoing cultural differences.

Just as I made a crack about it the first time I encountered it, Perhaps thats exactly what way did? Does that make me racist? If it does then it also makes the black kid’s brother who was in my grade racist because he DIDN’T use lotion because he thought it was too girly. He siad this is the color I’m supposed to be otherwise god would have put a lotion dispenser in my ass.

Anyways, X this is one of those areas where I think you overreact and get a little to sensitive. Don’t get me wrong I love ya big guy, but everyone has flaws, and the only reason I even point shit like this out to you is that I view you as an e-buddy and I always want to help people like that to grow.

So hear me or don’t, cultural differences SHOULD be a source of humor, humor is good. They should not be a source of discrimination, or hazing etc… that is bad.
