I considered going a little higher since I’m in the last 4 weeks of contest prep (not a BBing show, but I still have to be in contest shape in 4 weeks, or at least as close as I can get to it). I tried going higher (6 caps) yesterday and felt it much more than 4 caps, so I dunno if I can handle that much caffeine. For now I’m going to stick with using 4 caps of HOT-ROX a day plus the added caffeine from coffee and tea (a couple glasses of tea a day and one cup coffee in the morning).
As for adding yohimbine, I’ve got 5 mg caps (taht I capped which also I have added raspberry ketones as well for the hell of it), that I’m going to try starting at one a day and moving up to 2 at most (at different times of the day). If I can handle those I’ll let you guys know.
*By the way if you choose to get yohimbine, buy it precapped (I got bulk (1 gram) of powder), as capping it yourself is a bit frightening with how small the dosages are (2.5 - 5 mg per cap is pretty average and that’s tiny!) – possibilities of screwing it up are too high, and I’m sure as hell glad I check the “1 gram” amount of the stuff I ordered before mixing it with another powder to get the dosage per cap what I wanted it to be, because it turned out to be 3.5 grams of powder!
I was shocked a company would sell such a powerful compound with utter disregard for accuracy, although I do know it absolutely has to be weighed and dosed accurately, but still with no warnings I thought it was almost comical. I hope no one screws thesemlves up by ordering from that site…

One day I was completely out of it, and didn’t realize that I took 8 caps. Luckily for me caffeine doesn’t have any pronounced effect.

Any one try additional yohimbine or really jack up the dose of HOT-ROX above 4 pills a day?

Im curious about this as well if anyone has any info…
Just found this promising study:
With no ill effects yohimbine at 20mg a day for 21 days significantly lowered BF over placebo…
…and that aint even in combo with caffeine (and if you’ve read up on caffeine, you’ll know that it’s main mechanism for fat loss is that it increases B-receptors which promote fat loss and increase calorie burning, but it also increases the A2-receptors which do the opposite (alpha-2 stimulation blocks fat release), and although the net effect is fat loss if it would be possible to block/reduce the alpha-2 stimulation/production I’d theorize that then fat loss would be increased, perhaps significantly. Luckily, yohimbine is able to do just that - block the alpha-2 receptors, so when taken with caffeine it’s more powerful than either alone IMO. - I know I sound like a GD salesman. Apologies.
It’s been suggested that pre-exercise yohimbine administration increases lipolysis (breakdown of storage fat) in refractory gynoid fat depots, thus promoting fat loss.1 A recent study at the Belgrade Sports Medicine Institute investigated the effects of high-dose yohimbine supplementation on body composition and exercise performance in elite soccer players.2 Twenty male soccer players were allocated to two randomly assigned groups. The yohimbine group orally ingested 20 milligrams (2 x 10mg) of yohimbine daily for 21 days, while the control group ingested an equal number of identical-looking fake supplements (cellulose pills). Simply put, the results indicated that yohimbine supplementation does not have any effects on muscle mass, strength or exercise performance. However, the percentage of body fat significantly decreased in the yohimbine group compared to the control group (9.3 percent +/- 1.1 vs. 7.1 percent +/- 2.2). Similarly, fat mass was significantly lower in the yohimbine group versus the placebo group (7.1 percent +/- 2.2 vs. 9.2 percent +/- 1.9). The subjects did not report any side effects from the yohimbine supplementation.
In summary, yohimbine supplementation appears to promote fat loss in elite athletes without adverse effects but more research is clearly needed before firm conclusions can be drawn.
I’m going to start taking an add’l amount of yohimbine with my HOT-ROX and see how that goes.
I’ll let y’all know how my little experiment goes.

I bumped up to 6 pills a day a couple weeks into supplementing the HOT-ROX, and I found it to give me that extra kick once my body was starting to adapt to the general 4 pill dosage. I did change the way I took the them though. Instead of 2 pills/twice a day, I was taking only 1 pill at a time (like every two hours), and 2 pills pre-workout. Scale weight dropped quicker this way, but I was more so pleased with my quality of mood.
With respects to supplementing six HOT-ROX a day, I would say go for it. I had my best results on the product when I decided to bump the dosage from 4 to 6 once my body started to adapt to the yohimbine. I did change the way I took it though, instead of the 2 pills/twice a day form, I took 1 pill several times a day (like every two hours) and then my double dose pre-workout. Scale weight changed the most in this phase, but my overall satisfaction was on my general mood, I always just felt great.

Got it (X2 haha). Your plan sounds good Griff, but I’m planning to take them in the following. I’m working out 3X daily – two brief 45 min sessions (7AM and noon), and then one long session at night – thus I’ll take them in 2 cap doses before each session, or maybe one cap plus add’l yohimbine. Either way I think the add’l yohimbine (from the increase in HOT-ROX dose, or add’l supplemental yohimbine will prove beneficial.
