I don’t get a thrill from it, and certainly hold no regard for those who do, but I still think people need to see things like this. Not because it’s fun, but because it’s necessary. You don’t understand how horrible something can be until you’ve seen it.

I just watched the three guys one hammer video, and couldn’t help wondering why that guy didn’t even try to get up. Seemed strange.

Just watched this as well (You bastard) and I agree. In all of these videos, something just doesn’t seem quite right. They all seem fake. The guy in the woods that just lay there while some kids poked a screwdriver into his gut, or this jar guy just calmly doing his thing.

And no, I didn’t see that coming. I’m a pretty composed guy, and even I cringed when the shit went down.

Well, the only video known to be fake is the BME Final Round, with the self genital-mutilation. I still think 1G1J is real, but I think I actually try to convince myself it’s not.

The murder video is extremely un-fake… there were these three Ukrainian kids who admitted to killing 21 people so they’d “Have something to brag about when they were older.” I still think this video takes the cake for the worst, though the terrorist beheadings were vile.

And for the record, apparently they actually made a real movie about Mr. Hands and submitted it to Sundance, haha.

I do recall one movie I saw years ago where some guy was hung up and tortured by appendage and limb removal for about twenty minutes before he eventually passed out. I’m sure he was in shock pretty quickly, but the video consisted of a guy getting his toe/finger nails ripped off, followed by fingers getting cut off by segments.

They basically started with all of the smallest things (fingers, toe, ear, dick,) and then moved towards the torso. Definitely the worst video I’ve ever seen. Supposedly it was gang-motivated.

Vicomte, you ever seen August Underground’s Mordum? Seems like something you could stomach. It’s a wildly brutal movie, but is actually 100% fake. It’s worth torrenting if you want to see some impressive makeup and effects. Definitely worse than the Guinea Pig movies, for whatever that’s worth.

I’m personally not too much into exploitation fake-snuff films. Just interesting to see how far some directors will take it.

That beheading was probably the most graphic thing i’ve seen on the net, understandably so because someone died where as the others just involved some really stupid/sick shit.

Watching that beheading vid makes me happy to be in the U.S. where I don’t have to worry about some fucking terrorists coming to town and doing that shit.

I still don’t understand why the guy just lay there. He barely even moved, except he raised his hands a few times. You’d think he’d have some desire for self-preservation, or at least the pain would cause him to stir.

I’ve never seen the movie, but I do have a few friends who are gore-hounds, so I’ll check it out. I generally get bored after a bit, though.

I’ve heard that supposedly the first blow, with the back of rocks or whatever, pretty much put him out of commission.

The August Underground movies are really, really, really brutal. The first one is pretty gross. The second one (Mordum) transcends concepts of real and fake. The third and final one, Penance, is an all-out masochistic free-for-all.

I’m a big gore-hound, but the AU movies make me cringe a bit… if you can find them!

“3 Guys 1 Hammer” or whatever its called (the video of the serial killer Ukrainian teens in action) is by far the worst I’ve seen, and I’ve seen everything in this thread.

The worst one I ever saw was a video of a guy getting beaten to death outside a bar, captured on CCTV. The alleged story was that he refused to give one of the attackers a cigarette. Three guys basically stomped on the guy’s head until he was twitching.

Argh. I’m getting worked up just writing this. I know “information is free” and blah blah blah, but IMO, some media is better off not being seen.

I do not deny these things happen and have happened for a long time. The true indictment of a society that is in trouble is that there is an audience that continues to seek out images of suffering and death.

Once there was a group of people who explored these depraved acts for the ‘thrill’ of the experience. What has changed is that they now pursue it for a much more twisted purpose and that is to have their 15 minutes of fame.

Attention whores and misguided, emotionally stunted human beings. If you took the video camera away and the distribution method that can send it around the world you would have half of these instances disappear over night.

I am afraid that it will keep growing and we will further desensitize one another until there is nothing left we as a society can find genuinely beautiful.
