Yeah I’m convinced the writers read the T-Nation forum.

I’m not a parent and it was emotional for me as well. Watching an innocent little girl die like that sucks.
It was emotional that the girl was killed and that she was about to kill Judith. But I was very happy they put Lizzy down. Has hard as it would be to kill a child, even one as crazy as that chick it had to be done.
It’s just the thought of it is so difficult. It’s not something we would normally consider in our current life circumstances but in a post apocalyptic world such as TWD, the rules we govern ourselves by have to change. I can’t imagine how heavily that would weigh on Tyreese and Carol

Watch the flowers

Holy geez that episode was fucking terrible. At least the Lizzy crazy story line is over…that was dragged out way too long. I am amazed by the out pouring of sympathy you guys have for her…I mean shit at least half of you have dated/married a fucking psycho. How can you be an adult and not know you can’t fix fucking crazy? Go spend some time volunteering at a group home and you’ll wonder why Lizzy wasn’t dealt with sooner. Now I can understand an argument being made for Lizzy maybe being on the right path after she opened fire on that group of zombies, but home-girl was fucking nuttier than that pecan filled yard.

Too be fair to the girl that played Lizzy being a child actress is tough especially when you aren’t supposed to just act like a normal kid. That’s something the writers/directors should of known and just aborted this half-baked idea. Some things just don’t translate well from writing to acting/speaking ex. half of Stephen King’s dialogue when he makes his books into a movie. This could of maybe been an intersting one to two episode plot line (in the prison), but spreading it out over a season was just awful.

Comic Spoiler:
Would have been much better if Lizzy and her little sister had been the twin girls that were murdered by the psycho in the prison like in the comics. You’d get the absolute horror of terrible violence done to children and you wouldn’t of had the bad acting from a child trying to play a believable psycho.

I don’t think any of us were sympathizing for her, but for her sister she killed. I could care less that she died.

They wouldn’t have done it like in the comics because beheading a couple of kids is a little too gruesome for television.

I’m amazed you somehow came to this conclusion lol. I didn’t see any of that.

Interesting tidbit from the author’s AMA on reddit recently; he said they actually haven’t shied away from anything because “you can’t put that on TV.” He said they’ve just been going different directions, which is much more interesting for him, and that they obviously can’t drop F-bombs and stuff, but as far as content goes, he said they aren’t going to bar anything for being too dark.

One now !! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Am I the only one that finds it comical that those other 3 believe they are going to d.c to save the world.

I don’t get it, its obvious he is bluffing them. I would have told him to explain it too me. They seem to have enough time on the road for him to pass the knowledge along if its that important. Having one person with the knowledge is unwise planning if you ask me. If he gets bit or shot …its lost and “all of humanity is at stake” here. rolls eyes

SPOILER

OMG after watching the last episode I went back to episode 11 to watch the bit where the guys enter the house since it was revealed they’re who Daryl is with. Then it had that scene where Michonne picked up that painting, and I was like OMG that is Mary! I googled it and I’m not the only person who noticed it.

Also, if you notice there are picture of sunflowers on the wall and there were plenty of sunflowers in Terminus. I think that’s Mary’s old home!

Latest episode…Eh.

Agreed, they are just trailing along. Get on with it already. Maggie and Glenn reuniting is not worth a whole episode.

I think the Lizzie-Mika episode might been one of my favorites of the whole show, except for Tyreese’s over-acting.

There’s still a lot to wrap up in the next episode. I’ll be pretty pissed if we end up with a seven-month cliffhanger. Buncha people need to end up at Terminus (or not), Joe’s bikers are going to recognize Rick, we need to find out where Beth is, etc.

Also, I find it very, very hard to believe that they were able to just stroll into Terminus, right past two sets of unlocked gates with zero difficulty, no guards, no nothing. Their instincts should be screaming that something isn’t right at this “sanctuary.”

I’m a little surprised at how easily Daryl’s kinda melding with that group. Sure, it’s like his old life, but it seems like he just wrote Beth off as gone and lost, and moved on pretty quick. Feels out of character, especially after bonding in their booze episode. Anyhow, Joe seems like a pretty good, fairly level-headed (if borderline-sociopathic) leader. Like I wouldn’t mind more backstory on him and what he’s been up to.

Last, I agree that I’m not sure why nobody’s pushed “the scientist” for more info. Pretty sure when they meet more people and someone asks one or two questions, his sham will be busted.

Looks like they finally made it.

That is exactly what I was wondering, seems like Daryl just kind of forgot about beth for the most part. Anyone else notice the car in the garage look awfully similar to the one that was used to kidnap Beth? It looked like Daryl was scoping out the cars as well to find this out.

It feels like the kidnapper and the woman at Terminus are very connected as well, would make more sense as to why the gates were wide open and them not even having security. Perhaps the kidnapper was spying on the group or they had someone on watch, either way it was an incredibly creepy and seemingly faked atmosphere of kindness and openness.

It also seems like the Terminus woman is going to end up being a psychopath alongside the kidnapper and somewhere inside Terminus they are going to find Beth as well. Hopefully she is harm free and not turned. I was also wondering about the scientist guy but I feel like he is genuine with what he is saying. Does feel kind of stupid he doesn’t share any of his intel with the group in case worst case scenerio happened. They do seem pretty naive in their thinking of how dying is pretty unlikely for them.

In fact maybe its just me but their entire demeanor is completely different then the rest of the people in the series, almost feels like watching a completely different show when the focus is on that group and their full hardy, optimistic, save the world attitude. Stark difference between the gruesome theme of last weeks episode as well.

I’m not sure Eugene is hiding anything. He might just be a really badly written character, with the writers trying to have him play the socially inept genius. Still, with that mullet, not even those fancy calculations are doing much for his credibility.

Looking forward to the next ep.

So obviously there is going to be some sort of confrontation with Rick and those guys. Any chance Rick or any of the main characters die?

Well Daryl was supposed to die a couple seasons ago but due to his fan base they kept him on the show, apparently this also ruffled some of the feathers of his co stars because he was so much more popular lol…

I doubt it but maybe they may kill off Daryl in one of the upcoming seasons, I feel like there will definitely be a death this next Sunday that will leave us with a gaping cliffhanger for the next 7 months until the new season.

I agree with a few of you guys that something is too weird about Terminus. You don’t just leave the gates unlocked and let people, or walkers, walk right in. The sign also said, put your guns away because you are safe. I highly doubt that. You don’t just trust somebody that easy. Somebody is going to die in this next coming episode. Maybe the lesbo chick or the other girl that was with Abraham. Whatever happens there better be some bloodshed.

I won’t be surprised if Rick gets killed
