The Walking Dead Season 4

It was cool to see a little bit of the comic come back in although the story was vastly changed. In the comic it was 2 boys that were in that situation and it was Carl that killed the psycho one when the adults couldn’t.

I was pretty surprised to see them do that TBH. I thought they were getting a little soft compared to other shows here lately

I have to say, this was a great episode.

The on-fire walkers were pretty bad ass.

I am assuming the fire was the fire set by Beth/Daryl, but maybe not, as the house was empty.

Curious if the walkers are so stupid they walk INTO a fire.

If so, that’s probably a pretty good mass-disposal method, if you set it up right. You could just set fire to a building and the walkers go into it – it would kill or disable most and at least gather them in one spot/move them from your location.

I concur- easily makes up for the last 2 snore-fest episodes.

The extra cripsy walkers looked awesome- my only complaint: wouldn’t their eyes pop at that kind of temperature?

The Talking Dead mentioned it was possibly the Darryl/Beth house that lured them. I’m not so sure I agree but I look forward to what else it could have been.

Only 2 left!

Could the forest be on fire? It’s not like Daryl or Beth put the house fire out they just sort of left, smokey the best is crying right now. I’m assuming they kept the railroad walker alive so we can see how close everyone is to reach other.

Honest to God I would have had to execute that little psychopath long before she killed her sister. You could see that shit coming from a mile away.

Well since Glenn distracted the walkers via the Bob’s booze molotov, I think it looks like walkers are at least dumb enough to try and attack fire.

Only thing is the fire would give away your position to the non-walker crowd too.

I have been telling my girl friend that if I was Tyreese I would have probably killed the bitch since the beginning of the separation arc. I guess she did kind of save him back at the prison though. Plus he seems like a dude who avoids pointless killing.

Carol should have done it a long time ago. But she was too naive and thought she could save her. I feel like in the midst of an apocalypse you should rid yourself of the crazies like that.

Regardless of her age, she was very clearly nuts and dangerous. She should never have been given a gun or other weapon at the very least, and realistically there was no other option besides taking her out. They can’t afford to essentially provide constant surveillance for a dangerous mental patient in an apocalyptic scenario with people who will kill you and deadly zombies and a baby to take care of. They waited too long and got that other little girl killed, who actually seemed very helpful, and they almost got the baby killed as well.

I completely agree. When Tyreese and Carol walk up to the psycho chick with the dead sister I said to her “and that is what you get when you taught the bitch how to kill.” I also couldn’t believe they left her alone with Judith after that mental bitch fit she had over Carol killing her “friend.”

I can understand Carol teaching the other little girl and kids like Carl how to use a gun or a knife, but teaching a mental patient how to kill is asking for a trouble and she got it.

You couldn’t kill her while her sister was alive.
(Or you’d have to do it in a way that the sister didn’t know, like pushing her into some walkers.)

well she’s dead now. I’m still surprised that no one does the michonne walker thing, you would think she would have taught someone how to do that and it worked pretty well for her.

I must be a big softy cause I am a parent and found that really hard to watch. It was very emotional ep. I could not believe what I was watching.

That episode was just dark. Can’t believe they didn’t do something with the psycho bitch earlier.

I’m not a parent and it was emotional for me as well. Watching an innocent little girl die like that sucks.

Lilly look at the flowers

That was exactly what I was thinking too!

It was emotional that the girl was killed and that she was about to kill Judith. But I was very happy they put Lizzy down. Has hard as it would be to kill a child, even one as crazy as that chick it had to be done.

It made me think of that, too.

Definitely the strongest episode for a good long while: some roper character development and gutsy decisions from the writers.
