No, you’re not. That was the worst Walking Dead episode I have EVER seen. The last few have been so slow… I’m hoping the next one is better.
I would not go as far as to say the worst but I agree that things have been slow. There was at least some zombie killing action. I am just mad that they made a whole episode about the governor. His character was cool while it lasted and I feel like they just need to stop using him. It seems like character recycling with a ton of cliches.

With that being said, one of the scenes got me wondering what the effects are of turning, on things like paraplegia? Is one paraplegic even after they turn?
When they asked him to go to the old folks home I made the joke to my girlfriend that it must be “crawling” with zombies. For the sake of the joke it worked out that the zombies stayed paraplegic.

LOL, yep

I didn’t really feel either way about the episode. I thought the 2 chicks were stupid and how they lasted that long is insane. Good for the Pirate to be able to get his shag on though that quickly. I hope when the world goes I’d be able to pull ass that easy too.

My gf hated teh episode.

Also- regarding the paraplegic. I would assume it would still apply. If something like a spinal cord injury was what caused the issue, that won’t repair itself once turning you’d think. I could only see a walker getting out of a wheel chair if it was more mental/pain based for the person beforehand.

I doubt she was a paraplegic. I’ve seen lots of old people in wheel chairs because they’re just too weak or unsteady to walk.

Right- but that begs the question would walkers be stronger and able to walk whereas their before self couldn’t? I would guess no however they do have the uncanny ability to tear people apart with ease so I’m sort of at a loss. And since they fall over all the time we know coordination doesn’t improve.

Yeah man I totally agree. On the brightside, I liked that scene a couple episodes ago where Rick and his son murked a shitload of zombies with machine guns.

Well that didn’t take long for the good old gov to go back into crazy mode.

And I’m pretty sure the tank from the comics has officially made its first appearance.

I have hope the Gov from the book is now the Gov of the show. I enjoyed the full blown crazy version.

last night may have been the best episode of the entire series.

I feel like the writers caught a lot of flack for not following the comics and this is their way of circling back.

Maybe not so much for not following the comic storyline because i enjoy that it is different as a comic fan, but for not following same style as the comic and recent ‘soap opera with occasional zombie’ show instead.

Last night’s episode was great. My only gripe is that “Mitch” isn’t really a believable character to me.

Still, I am loving these Governor centric episodes immensely more than Rick’s cry baby town.

I agree…it is hard for me to describe what I felt about the episode without spoilers. Leaving some of my ideas out of my earlier post may have skewed what I was trying to say.

I’m glad Martinez, I guess he didn’t learn after the gov went ape shit and killed all the people last season. Also its nice to have the gov back.

Am I the only one in the minority here that feels like they are recycling last season when there is a show down with the Governors group and Ricks group? I hope in the mid season finale there is a lot of casualties and the group has to leave the prison and move on.

Decent episode. At least things are happening again and moving forward.

I can even see how the boring first batch of episodes at the prison served to set up this show down with Rick’s contingent in a weakened state, as well as showing that they are never really safe, but I stil think they dragged it out too long, though.

Also, Mitch = Skinhead Seinfeld? I think he might have been in Band of Brothers as I recognise him from somewhere.

Fringe, Castle --few other shows.

That is a part of what I was feeling. It feels like a lot of recycling but I think it is necessary in order to move along the story line (as it is in the comics). They did not have the governor drive them out of the prison last season and are now trying to rectify it. At least that is the conclusion I have come to.
