Ideally Alex Morgan will be very soon… She may have been the MVP for the US team that game. And only 22 years old
Today is the first day I’ve seen her, and I’m in love

Man shes hot

And what the fuck is with their aggressively-lesbian coach? She’s from fucking SWEDEN! She’s not even an American and she’s coaching the U.S. National Team? Only in soccer does something that backwards and contradictory happen. You’d never see Felipe Alou or Sadaharu Oh caoching the U.S. team in the Olympics or the World Baseball Classic and you sure as shit wouldn’t see Bruce Bochy coaching the Koreans!

yeah, because having non-American coaches for American sports teams is completely new to this country… (hint: it’s not).

Did I say it was completely new? Did I say that it was completely new to me? No, of course not. I’m aware of the coaching history of the U.S National teams in gymnastics, men’s soccer and a couple other less-watched international sports.

But even if EVERY coach of a U.S. National team was foreign-born, that doesn’t negate how backwards it is for a team that is supposed to represent an entire country, comprised solely of American-born players or American citizens, to be led by someone with no discernible connection to this country, save for the currency they receive their paychecks in.

Niccolo Machiavelli would not have approved of this.

As long as my dick is at the bottom of that hill they can roll down it all they want.

Especially the girl that missed the damn goal… I don’t watch much soccer, but that is a HUGE fuck up for a world cup athlete, is it not?
Missing a PK is a pretty huge fuck up but it’s not entirely uncommon for good players (even the best on the team) to miss the goal entirely sometimes by a large margin or mis-kick.

Roberto Baggio ('94 World Cup Final)

Alesandro Del Pierro

Brazil just missed ALL fucking goals on Copa America today, i’m so fucking ashamed.

But i’m glad about japan, no wonder they are recognized as a force in women’s soccer.

WAR NADESHIKO NIPPON!

yeah, if there was a team I wanted to win besides U.S., it would be Japan. Very disciplined and polite team. Always making sure the American players were OK. Plus the whole tsunami thing.

Machiavelli would have disapproved more of losing than of anything else.

Also, this was not what I expected to see when I opened this thread title.

I don’t think Machiavelli would have cared about wins and losses, only in the preparation for battle/competition. If all of the things needed to prepare against Fortune and put oneself in the best position to win are met (including NOT using foreigners when going into battle)…and you lose anyways, I think Machiavelli would be disappointed in losing, but he would gladly admit that the opponent was better prepared and/or Lady Fortuna showed more mercy to the opponent. Regret and disapproval aren’t the same thing.

I am in the US this week and not a single person talked about this at work today.

The doctrine of American exceptionalism does not allow for annoying banter about soccer.

Now…as Otep alluded…why don’t we go ahead and shift the topic of American women choking to a more…ah…pertinent discourse?
I really like when a woman chokes on my cock. I like the sound she makes. If it’s necessary, I’ll even paint my fucking sack up like a soccer ball.

Discuss.

I must admit that the volume of slobber increases significantly when the choking occurs. The volume of slobber can thusly be correlated with an increase of pleasure to the suckee. An increase of pleasure to the suckee results in the world being a better place. Therefore, women that choke produce a positive effect to our precious little corner of the universe.
Yes, they do. They sure do. Who would have known that there is a direct correlation between female slobber on one’s cock and the GDP of the U.S.?
