What is so good about those jeans, gsxtacy? Anything in particular? How much do they run? My friend buys Paper Denim (?). No clue what ‘premium denim’ is and why it’s worth so much more. It all wears out to me just the same, but maybe that’s me…
A few things I have found that make these stand out above most other jeans.
Firstly, they last. I cant tell u how many jeans ive had which have ripped or torn or just looked beat to shit after a while. These last and so does the color of them.
Also, they have a lot of different types of cuts and washes. Im pretty particular with how my jeans ave to fit and these never fail me.
They go for like 150-200 or so new from barneys but you can usually get them on sale and whatnot for like 70 or so. I live in canada now but i do all my clothes shopping in nyc, so barneys is one of the only places i can tell u to get them, but im positive they sell them in plenty of other stores.

It could be that this crowd has not learned about “deferred gratification”. On the off chance that one of them wants to learn the secret of turning $1,000 into a Ferrari (with little effort), I came a across a simple, but well written article on the basic how-to.

wow, I should have read this thread. It gives you great insight into 781’s psyche, unreal.
For someone to act the way they do about clothing with financial problems at home, and typing the way he does, unreal. I really don’t have anything witty or sarcastic to say.

I don’t think it is. In my experience, white kids trying to emulate what they see in rap videos are flattered when they are called “wiggers”.
Didn’t you just ask what a “wigger” was?
How can you have experiences involving white kids being called “wiggers” when you just found out what a wigger is?

guys this a thread about the “swag” scene. not Fubu, not Rocawear. there shouldnt be anyone getting called a wigger in a thread about a fashion style inspired by skateboarding and the 80s/early 90s. its pretty much a universal/global thing where people all over are doing it. theres no racial segregation in the dress style, black people, asians, whites, it doesnt matter.
you go to karmaloop.com and youll see the models of all different races, no one cares about this shit anymore, of course its the people who dont participate who want to stir up shit, go figure.

Yeah really. You posted the following:
“Since it’s the second time it’s been mentioned, wtf is a “wigger”?”
soon followed by this:
“In my experience, white kids trying to emulate what they see in rap videos are flattered when they are called “wiggers”.”
Hmm
Wow
sometimes, it’s helpful to ask a question you know the answer to, in order to stimulate thought. Maybe the folks using the word haven’t considered that they are saying. Maybe they have, and don’t care.

speak for yourself. I just made 20k today on 3000 shares of SOLF.
Not quite $1000 into a ferrari, but its not a bad ROI for clicking a button 5 days ago.
In and out in 5 days, way to defer gratification. So whatcha gonna blow the money on?
Was that some sort of jab at the fact I sold my shares in 5 days? Id like to see your reaction to making 20k that quick and easy. Would you have just held your shares and waited to see if itll keep going? I like to think i made a smart move. Regardless of how the stock will perform after I sold, I set a limit on how many points up or down and stuck to it.
75% is put aside for a purchase of a house and 25% goes back into the market. Hence the delayed gratification. Were you expecting me to type something about a saturday stroll down madison avenue?

That would be more consistent with your prior posts. Good for you having $55,000 to gamble on a single stock for 5 days. With that kind of free cash, I’m surprised you don’t have a house already.

lol what prior posts? The one where i told someone where to get a certain pair of jeans?
And i didnt have a spare 55k. Stock was bought using full margin available. No point in buying a house till im done my degree and figure out where i want to live. Im hardly interested in becoming a landlord around this crappy area.
