The Supreme Court Fight is On. The Divide Worsens

I mean, when you’re declared evil by Cory Booker even before these allegations it’s gotta feel like partisan revenge for the election and Garland. What kind of Job interview declares you morally evil first, then wants to question you on attempted rape charges as if your guilt or innocence are really being considered. It isn’t a job interview. Maybe that should be the intent, but it isn’t in reality. There’s stalling a nominee. Then, there’s this.

Further, the timing and the way it was handled needs its own investigation.

Oh! @Sloth!

In NO way am I defending the DEMS.

And even though Kavanaugh’s feelings were more than justified…he lost it.

How that plays out in the end, we’ll see.

Hmm

@Sloth

Hmmm, indeed.

But…

This goes back to something I posted earlier.

“Credible” was not what I sensed as I listened to Ford…but more “a woman with a screwed up Life” (much like this Swetnick person).

Most likely; (and it seems like we may never know); I think Kavanaugh may…and I emphasize may have actually done what was alleged; and became one part of what seems to be a Life of psychological problems for Ford. (It still isn’t clear what the “counseling” was about that brought all of this out. Has anyone heard?)

I should also state that abused people will often lead some difficult; often destructive, Lives. (The article points that out). That’s not in dispute.

Again. We’ll see how it all play out.

Another question I have.

Where do we go from here?

Is this the way confirmations are going to be?

Another thing…“Slick Mitch” McConnell…he really is becoming more of a smooth operator. Seems to work more “behind-the-scenes” and doesn’t get himself mixed up in Trump’s Shit-Show’s…while at the same time, stays in charge…

Thoughts?

Thought I’d post “Slick Mitch’s” theme song.
(Sorry…couldn’t help it…!)

Yes. Well, if it’s a republican. Then it’s necessary to stop the first stage of the Handmaid’s Tale.

The GOP sure does know how to arouse “The Deep State”, doesn’t it?

(Yep…that’s the GOP in the Foreground…)

Yep. If it’s a Democratic nomination, we won’t have contentious, polarizing hearings. In fact, we won’t have hearings at all.

The circumstances simply don’t compare in my estimation. And hey, I argued they should’ve settled with Garland because I mistakenly didn’t see Trump winning. Figured Clinton’s pick would be worse (from my seat on the right).

I actually heard someone refer to the Handmaid’s Tale with respect to Kavanaugh. I’ll find it later.

Oh gosh, google it, yeah.

I agree. The Dems are trying to block Kav within the confines of the constitutionally-dictated process. In contrast, the Rs simply flouted the Constitution. Don’t compare indeed.

Yeah, @EyeDentist

But what about OBAMA???

(Hmmmm…you don’t hear that much anymore. Wonder if it has anything to do with the current Divider-in-Chief?)

It turned into what about Hillary. Duh. Get with the times

Relax guy, it’s just a meme.

I am trying to think of somebody else who came off believable, credible in their interviews… Oh yeah! Ted Bundy!

People with a brain wouldn’t use this woman as the poster child of the cause of sexual abuse. There are plenty of cases with good witnesses and piles of evidence. There are far better, far more credible people to admire, than someone who cannot remember anything about something that happened sometimes 35 years ago.
She’s not certain about anything else, but she’s certain it was him? We know absolutely zero percent more information after she testified than before. That’s called a waste of time.

At least I now know I can kick I son in the nuts, for kicking me in the nuts when he was 4. He knew better. I am just going to land one square in his balls.
I don’t remember when or where, but I know he kicked me in the balls, more than once. Now I know I can seek revenge. he he

No matter how Kavanaugh acted he would be criticized. Had he been stoic and showed no emotion when answering questions the media would be using his calmness in the negative.

If we bind your hands, throw you in the river and you get away, you’re a witch. If you sink and die, you aren’t.

I’m just here to go on record that I was held down and made to watch someone furiously masturbate to images of crying white men. I remember the smell like it was yesterday. I don’t remember exactly when or where this took place, but I’d like to leave this here to serve as credible evidence when I decide to come forward with a name sometime around the conclusion of the Democratic Presidential primaries.
