Supporters on the list aren’t nearly subjected to the level of scrutiny and BS that the accusers are. Everyone is waiting for “someone else” to step up to the plate.

Regarding the allegation made today: that woman is a federal employee with several active clearances who submitted a sworn declaration. If she’s lying, her career is essentially over. I’m not saying I believe every word of what she or the others have said, but there certainly seems to be more here than just “pissed off libs”.
I get that, but he faces no less the consequences if he is lying. And his position, reputation, and background seems to have been no less scrutinized in his own rise. Someone is lying, in the end.
If he is lying, then charges should be pressed. And a move to have him impeached.
I don’t think anyone’s career is in jeopardy here; except, Kavanaugh’s. For all of the accusers, who very well could be telling the truth, it’s their words vs Kavanaugh’s unless he/his team can somehow come up with compelling evidence to prove they’re lying, but I seriously doubt he has some record from the early 80s that would prove his innocence.
This will blow over soon, in six months everyone will be on to something else, neither side will “win”, but Kavanaugh will lose his one and only shot at the SCOTUS after a life of service because of unsubstantiated allegations made in the 11th hour right before the primary season. Made it’s the pessimist in me, but the timing seems awful suspect particularly with Feinstein’s lack of action earlier in the process.
Also, I seriously doubt this fucking nerd was lined up outside a train room…

Who knows. I’m a conservative so I want conservatives on the court. Besides, after these allegations against Kavanaugh, it would likely not fly against a second pick. And a woman, to boot.
I’m just wary of folks who support and vote for candidates out of spite, rather than voting/supporting for the candidate they think is best.

Well, in the sense of is she qualified, sure. I think so. And I like what I know. But she could disappoint if appointed, sure. And some 30 year old no date, no location, no first hand witnesses accusation could come up days for before her vote, too. Though, it would be hard to believe it would be of a sexual nature, at least.
That christian, cult-like group she is a member of sure gives me pause. I think she is too conservative and religion bound.
Realistically I think kavanaugh would be been a fine justice. Not who i would choose, but a conservative who won’t give me too much heartburn.

Even so, I don’t know too many social conservatives that agree with the dogma People of Praise put out. It’s some fairly fundamentalist, old world stuff from what I understand.
