The Supreme Court Fight is On. The Divide Worsens

I would consider a person being dispassionate a disqualifier for any position involving the law a problem. The morals, ethics, and principals that the SC opine upon are what really makes the US great.

I don’t want a piece of cardboard presiding over our freedom.

The only “reality” in Kavanaugh’s rant (excuse me…Justice Kavanaugh)…was that he finally revealed his true self…

His true self. A self that is facing a down the lines partisan hatchet squad? Again, do you dispute that? A human being?

Evil. E-v-i-l.

No, he pulled the veil off of them. Off of the process. Job interview my rear.

“Oh goodness, how ever could this letter, sent to only 2 Democrats, have leaked? And, oh golly, after the regular vetting process has shutdown. Guess we won’t be able to look over this allegation through the entirety of the summer in a confidential manner. Me oh my, I guess we have to delay.the vote!”

All men shut up…
Doesn’t matter what the FBI finds…
Doesn’t matter if he’s guilty or innocent…
Most dangerous nomination.
Evil…

Oh please.

He literally had to sit there and defend a friggen fart joke to some smug ass Democrat pouring over a yearbook, like he was some kind of over the hill and sedentary Indiana Jones, deciphering the glyphs of some ancient gang rapist. cult

I’ve expressed my feeling on this shit-show we just experienced over, and over, and over again…

He’s in…
Time to move on.

I’m looking forward to see how Kavanaugh does as a Justice.

So then if we all see it, why would we expect him to be act like he’s some stone-faced oblivious simpleton? Why would we reward anyone who would deliberately fake their way through what everyone else knows for maybe an extra Democrat vote or two? That’s the part I don’t get.

He wasn’t on the bench, and it hadn’t been anything like a job interview since before Trump’s pick was even announced. Come on, America.

WHOA, @Sloth

I had no expectation of how Kavanaugh should, or should not, act or respond.

What I AM saying is that his WELL-THOUGHT OUT and PREPARED (it wasn’t some spontaneous flood of passion) rant revealed the man’s true and partisan nature.

So what? He’s in

Move on.

Responding to being called evil, dangerous, instantly opposed and presumed guilty over a partisan divide.is revealing ones partisanship.

…threaten the lives of miilions of americans to come"

“Your worst nightmare.”

“Complicit in evil…”

"Given comments like those, is it any surprise that people have been willing to do anything, to make any physical threat against my family, to send any violent email to my wife, to make any kind of allegation against me and against my friends, to blow me up and take me down?" he asked. “You sowed the wind for decades to come.”

C’mon, @Sloth

The man was placed in the Federalist Society’s list; was nominated by Trump; and was (and will be) a darling of the Right because they want him to rule in a partisan way…

He simply revealed what the Right wanted.

So what is the issue?

Look directly above.

“This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit fueled with apparent pent-up anger about President Trumpand the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of the Clintons and millions of dollars in money from outside left-wing opposition groups,” a seething Kavanaugh said.

Tell me who here believes this isn’t actually true?

The veil slipped off of the that crap-tastic paristan shooting gallery some folks cotninue try to refer to a “job interviewers.”

And now the mid-terms will show just who got unmasked.

I don’t. ‘Revenge for the Clintons’–say what?

You keep conflating and mixing two different things, as if I support both…

I do not.

  1. The process of this shit-show of a confirmation was ridiculous, and the DEMS should be made to pay dearly for it.

  2. Kavanaugh is partisan.

He is a Justice now…move on…

Trump’s pick. Who beat Clinton.

Not until after the mid-terms. This actually got me voting GoP again.

You think the Senate Dems love HRC so much they’re harboring a blood-feud regarding her ‘demise’? Sorry, that’s goofy.

A Senator telling men to sit down and shut up over an allegation without one shred of evidence.

You honestly don’t? I mean, she was only their nominee, and is still a major figure. Then there’s the butt-hurt about his role in the Ken Star-Clinton investigations. Gosh, all I heard about was how the electoral vote stole the election from HRC.

I mean crap, they keep trotting her around and her husband has more allegations against him than Kavanaugh. That’s some dedication. Apparently she doesn’t always #believeher, yet can get away with it.
