The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

100% true, and this happens in the North East as well as the South.

If the truck is ridiculous, yet used for work… I typically assume dude just like to show off, and/or have big toys.

If the truck is ridiculous and the only use the bed has is maybe hauling a load of yard waste to the dump… He’s a fuckboi

Full disclosure, I drive an Accord.

And drove a Civic for 11 years before I bought the Accord.

Then a hurricane hits and the streets flood…I hope that Honda came with a paddle.

Flood waters were at 15+ ft in the streets. Didn’t matter what car you had.

I find this RARELY to the be case, but if it is, the guy is usually a welder, 18 yrs old, and making 6 figures. So good for you man, keep working hard.

Are you trying to call people who believe, and demand others recognize as true, things to be true that obviously are not, lunatics?

but said he believed biological sex was defined at birth

You mean… He believed the irrefutable fact?

Play gender games all day, but outside rare mutations, this isn’t a belief, this is a fundamental and basic fact.

Peterson is right, and we’re all so, ho so fucked.

One can shit on the right for denying climate change all they want, but good Lord does the left like to pretend biology is make believe.

Funny, that’s the same sort of line reactionaries used when defending anti-miscegenation laws back in the day.

Are you denying that biological sex is defined at birth? (Well before that actually, but in keeping on the line of thought here.)

I suppose it depends on what is meant by the term biological sex. If it means genotypic sex, it is defined at conception. If it means phenotypic sex (ie, the shape of one’s genitalia), it is defined during gestation (but often not revealed until birth). If it means gender identity, it is impossible to know at the present time (whether it is defined at birth, that is).

So you don’t. Good.

If it wasn’t clear enough before: gender identity and all those games people want to play is one thing, however, to make it sound like dude in the article “believes” a factual statement is crazytown. Because that statement had nothing to do with gender, and spoke of sex.

It actually has everything to do with gender, and nothing to do with what you’re calling ‘biological sex.’

PURE GOLD…

Would a biological woman who identifies as a male see a gynecologist for certain issues, or would a urologist cover all of them?

I’m not even sure wtf you’re going on about at this point.

If I was to get into a car accident on my way home and my penis was ripped form my body I wouldn’t enter into hormone therapy and multiple surgeries in order for my secondary sex characteristics to present as fem, because I identify as a male.

I’m biologically a male because I have testicles, or otherwise stated as I don’t have ovaries. (Among other factors, but I’m being basic here.)

Now if the magic gender fairy was to come down tonight and change the fundamental physical makeup of my body and endocrine system to that of a woman, but leave everything else the same, I would in fact still identify as a male tomorrow, and undergo those hormone therapies mentioned above.
