The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

I find this racist. Why is it anything that has to do with black people has to revolve around dancing?

They’re a musical people
 didn’t you know? /S

Mao would have recognized them for the snowflakes and useful idiots that they are, used them as his Red Guards, then executed the bulk of them and sent the rest down to the countryside to do hard labor.

Marxist idiots who have no idea what they signed up for. Some things never change.

I want Jon Stewart to do a SNL skit about this, so stupid its funny.

Heartbroken North Koreans have been worrying tearfully about leader Kim Jong Un’s “emaciated looks,” state media quoted a local resident as saying, in a rare acknowledgement of foreign speculation about his weight loss.

“Our people’s hearts ached most when we saw (Kim’s) emaciated looks,” North Korean state TV cited the unidentified male resident wearing a straw hat as saying on Friday. “Everyone says their tears are welling up in their eyes naturally.”

What do you think is the percentage of north Koreans that view Kim as a demigod and worship him, vs think he is trash but are afraid to speak out?

Just checked with North Korea, all of them are in the former group.

Probably similar to the amount of Trump voters who still worship him? I dunno people are duped easily. Here, there, anywhere.

Probably higher than we’d want to think although I have no doubt a great many do what most of us would do which is pretend like hell so you can keep your head.

I find it funny that they felt the need to make sure to say it was the natural reaction of people.

The part of me that loves black humor would love to see Trump try to feed his genius nuclear uncle to the dogs.

:joy:

EDIT:

Seriously, I think it’s near impossible for us to really fathom if what has been written about NK is accurate. Imagine growing up with State propaganda constantly drilled into your head and you have no access to any form of media other than State controlled ones.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most of them really worship him although the videos from NK like the ones depicting people weeping and self-flagellating at the previous guy’s funeral looked obviously staged, Just the acting alone was too bad to believe it. But then they could have been real people just virtue signalling since they were at the front rows and visible to the authorities.

However, if you’ve never even seen a Hollywood movie, you’d probably believe Kim could fly if he decided to televise himself doing so even with a completely differently lit background on a green screen and wires visible.

I think years ago the belief among many was that Kim IL-Sung could leap over tall buildings. I saw a news story that said some N Koreans actually believed it.

Also to @dt79 , I just saw this article. It continues what we were talking in about I don’t know which thread:

Eh? I think you were discussing this with someone else lol. I’m not ruling out the lab leak theory but I don’t think they would release the virus intentionally simply because they wouldn’t have done so in Wuhan where the bloody lab was at. They’re not that stupid.

And why would they even release it in China?

As for stealing information, China steals info from MY country. Some dumbass recently got arrested. They steal from EVERYWHERE. It’s become comedic at this point. Fuck, I’d bet they even have spies in Greenland.

:joy: :joy: :joy:

My grandfather was stationed in Greenland in the 50s

I was in Afghanistan for 4 years, without a doubt, the most stupid thing I have ever been involved in, worst than my years in Iraq. These comments match my observations. Please vote and remember the politicians who made the decisions.

Then this recent headline comes along from the Wall Street Journal “Afghan Government Could Collapse Six Months After U.S. Withdrawal, New Intelligence Assessment Says.”

What did we really expect? And what does the WSJ hope to accomplish editorially with this? To have us stay in Afghanistan longer? For what?

The WSJ writes in the piece,

> “The U.S. intelligence community concluded last week that the government of Afghanistan could collapse as soon as six months after [the American military withdrawal](from the country is completed, according to officials with knowledge of the new assessment.

> American intelligence agencies revised their previously more optimistic estimates as the Taliban swept through northern Afghanistan last week, seizing dozens of districts and surrounding major cities. Afghan security forces frequently surrendered without a fight, leaving their Humvees and other American-supplied equipment to the insurgents.
>
>
>
> The new assessment of the overall U.S. intelligence community, which hasn’t been previously reported, has now aligned more closely with the analysis that had been generated by the U.S. military. The military has already withdrawn more than half of its 3,500 troops and its equipment, with the rest due to be out by Sept. 11.”

It also seems like a carefully crafted advertorial, disguised as journalism, nudged into existence by the War Lobbyists of Washington DC tossing out chunks of raw meat to a hungry pack of news dogs in the nation’s capital.

## Questions to Ask Ourselves

Who benefits from the above editorial stance?

What would be the reason for staying in the country longer?

What have Americans gained by being in Afghanistan for 20 years?

Could we have used that trillion dollars better back home?

These are good questions to ask ourselves in the modern era of “news entertainment” where advertisers lean on news organizations with do’s and don’ts and greasy political campaign managers leak info for their own political interests.

If one thing is clear to me since leaving the XXXX in 2006, it’s that the real winners in the 20-year war (the longest war in American history) are the defense industry and the retired officers that sit on these companies’ boards and push around people and contracts like pieces on a chessboard.

Only, it’s a stalemate for the U.S. and Afghanistan.

We all need to ask the tough questions and keep our elected officials held accountable. Remember that when you go out and vote. Remember the Afghanistan incompetence.

Our dead and our walking dead here at home deserve this.

It wasn’t an editorial stance. It was just reporting intelligence assessment.

On America’s birthday you have to read this crap:

New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed Friday the rule barring marijuana use during the Olympic races was an “instrument of racist and colonial policy.”

The congresswoman’s comments followed the announcement that U.S. champion Sha’Carri Richardson will not be running in the 100-meter race after she tested positive for THC, a chemical found in marijuana, at the Olympic trials – voiding her first-place results.

“The criminalization and banning of cannabis is an instrument of racist and colonial policy,” Ocasio-Cortez said Friday. “The IOC [International Olympic Committee] should reconsider its suspension of Ms. Richardson and any athletes penalized for cannabis use.”

And something I consider worse than AOC’s stupid statement , Big Giant Disney caving like a cheap lawn chair to the WOKE POLICE.

Lol, it’s not racist. It’s political

WADA protocol should be about deterring performance enhancement. As a matter of fact, athletes are free (as per wada protocol) to do abuse their body to their hearts content (heroin, cocaine, meth, weed
All ok of out of competition).

All of the latter except for weed may elicit a serious performance enhancing effect if misused during competition. If anything she’d be helping opposing athletes out by smoking before sprinting as she’d probably be more likely to lose. But alas, urinary detection times for weed are prolonged. Chances are she smoked a week ago and wasn’t aware it could be detected in urine for so long

Is the ban racist? Absolutely not
 Is it stupid? Yes

Vested morality aside/whether or not you agree with cannabis use, cannabis isn’t going to increase your 100m time, therefore it shouldn’t equate to a suspension.

If you can smoke crack outside of competition and still be within WADA guidelines you should be able to smoke a joint in competition.
