The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

An average of 90 people die per day from car crashes in the US.

Why don’t you go ahead and take a look at the death tolls from Coronavirus in the last two weeks in the US to compare.

New York has 1,098 deaths per year from car crashes. Why don’t you go ahead and compare and contrast say March 20-present for us?

Why don’t you go ahead and compare-and-contrast New York’s number of plane crash deaths from, say, September 11, 2001 to its numbers of deaths from brain cancer for this year?

Ok? You brought up car accidents. I merely showed that Coronavirus in New York is far more deadly than car crashes so far. But I know that’s with less than a month of data. I’m sure in another few weeks car crashes will catch up.

Mandatory Yugos for everyone and car crashes will catch up in no time!

Why don’t you figure out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a blow pop?

I crashed my car into another car. Two weeks later, someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew the person whose car I hit, crashed his car. His parents and grandparents also crashed theirs. As did the waitress who served them a week before.

My God! They are contagious after all! Someone alert the CDC!

This is the key. This may turn out to not have been close to as deadly as we suspect, as we don’t have the denominator yet, but the fat tail risks are enormous.

We’re reaching levels of woke not previously observed on Earth.

If she were around during WWII she probably would have insisted that some of the Poles, French and Brits working on the Enigma machine ought to be replaced with some mathematicians from Swaziland, Tonga and Paupau New Guinea.

Ironically, there are enough real stories of valor from less know peoples that the PC brigade shouldn’t have to invent BS.

Tenacious German defense of Toulouse was finally broken only after a frontal bayonet charge against Wehrmacht machine gun nests by the Tahitian brigade of the Free French Forces, for example.

Back to the topic - I’m so glad that Fox News is covering protests on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border. I’m sure the ethnic Mingrelian locals in Marneuli are glad that they’re on US cable news.

That’s exactly the kind of mistake you’d expect a stereotypical conservative American to make.

You can’t expect them to know there is a country called “Georgia” any more than I can expect people from elsewhere to know what I mean when I say I’m running up to China then swinging over to Mexico before I grab dinner in Norway and finally a drink in Paris.

Key word “shouldn’t.” They don’t know any actual history, so they feel compelled to gender or race swap famous events, rather than give coverage to the bravery of the allied forces from all corners of the globe.

Well, then you’d have to exclude the Red Army as well.

This is sick.

From the op ed: “her corroborating witnesses.”

She doesn’t seem to know what witness means. Her entire essay is just some narcissistic rant that tries to make her come across as having the integrity to admit she has none, so she is better than everyone else.

Would tend to agree but honestly I think if this was undeniably true many who were going to vote for him still would.

Trump has far more allegations and has admitted to sexual assault, paid off porn stars, whatever. I live in a pretty Republican area. I’m sure if he admitted to more it would be dismissed as “nobody’s perfect” or something else.

Fuck a two party system!

Yep.

Don’t think this is true

However this is

Ahh so you’re flippant about consent … got it

Agree

Agree. I hope Amash gets the Lib nod so I don’t have to write in John Galt again
