The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

I’m looking forward to having bathroom signs simply having a question mark on them.

I’m looking forward to continuing peeing all over the seats and/or leaving the seat up

The time, money, and effort spent on fighting for stupid shit, and fighting against those fighting for stupid shit… Is stupid.

Too many people getting recreationally offended these days.

I find myself looking for movies or TV series that have “politically incorrect” vibe. Everything else seems kind of lame now.

Compare and contrast:

The NYT is a fucking disgrace.

That’s why I stick with the BBC for American news:

Left wing News: F the Right!
Right Wing News: F the Left!
BBC: Both of you guys suck! - far more objective

You’re comparing a tweet about a story that details the history of Mormons in that region, in the wake of a massacre, to a headline about the killing?

The actual stories about the massacre in the NYT are no different than the Mail.

Or maybe it’s a 250 year old grudge.

I see it like the Swiss during WWII- demonstrate neutrality by shooting down planes from both sides

While hoarding Nazi gold.

Economics above politics- the way to go!

The tweet references the brutal cartel murders and the subsequent article is bilious drek about Mormon polygamy and religious extremism in the region. Unless you can point to HOW the murder of 9 by a cartel scumbag highlights the “history of religious fundamentalism” I am going to pillory the times for this, justifiably, I might add.

The Times also completely edited the article that is currently up from the original with nary a corrective note to indicate they did so. Fuck ‘em.

Which is not only true but has been documented by the news in the past. I’m not saying that killing people is OK but there is more to this story than just some random murder for kicks. There is a reason why these people are in Mexico and it’s because they do things that would land them in prison in the US. Just look up Ervil LeBaron.

If this is true, there is something really strange about teaching 6 year olds concepts like gender identity. They probably still believe in Santa Claus.

You are probably correct there, but it doesn’t make the Time’s actions any less callous or tin-eared for it. Clearly they agree with that assessment, given the edit.

Very bizarre and foul dude, to be sure. However, it’s not as if the cartels need more of an excuse than “it’s a day ending in Y” to engage in acts of horrific violence, which this was.

Yea man … that’s just something I don’t think kids will understand considering it seems a LOT of college kids don’t get it either

Why is this happening anyways, do people have nothing better to do?
