The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

If you’re familiar with after market truck parts, you’ve probably heard of Sinister Diesel and their trademark on the color ‘blue’ (specifically ‘the sinister diesel shade’ of blue) haha talk about causing a ruckus. They sent out a bunch of cease and desist letters to other companies telling them they had to stop producing their products in a certain range of blue shades, talk about kick back haha

Lol! I missed that. As if you can trademark the default blue on every computer. The thing that gets me about Caterpillar is that they are a heavy equipment manufacturer NOT a coffee shop. There’s no correlation. Also… it’s a hippy coffee shop in Santa Cruz… I don’t get it.

The done key is the same damn color.

According to the Redundant Department of Redundancy, this statement is redundant. It has been flagged for investigation by the Redundant Department of Redundancy for investigation by the Redundant Department of Redundancy.

TAG - All coffee shops in Santa Cruz are hippy coffee shops.

PS - I arrive Santa Cruz on 7/16 for my usual two week stay.

I’m pretty sure I could find some Silicon Valley customer of Cat and Cloud to find a way to do this and then when you wired me the bitcoin, he could probably hack your account and take all your bitcoin.

We’re bros, so I won’t expose you to that, lol.

On second thought, I’ll send you DogEcoin!

The irony!

1 coin = 1 doge. That’s more stable than gold, I tell you!

That’s amazing. $1 per bullet is pretty steep. I’ll have to ship them some reloading supplies.

Every form of totalitarianism is pretty good at reducing crime. Try being a criminal that doesn’t pay off the party in China or Russia. Short life span.

There’s a lot to unpack here.

Seems straight forward to me … Marcia’s husband’s taste for butt butter led to their current cancer predicaments

Big backlog at the fudge factory.

The head of it blames the pickers and packers, but the shipping department says the problem is endemic. There’s a yes man that has the bosses ear, but everybody knows he’s a brown nosing butt kisser.

This type of action is going to prompt government intervention… Between them and Twitter right now… smh

Those folks get their fitness tips from GOOP…

I’d sure hope not. The govt has absolutely no business deciding what a company does on their own platform.

While true. It will be interesting to see the civil suits.

If you want to offer a platform and argue you’re like the phone company… not responsible for what people communicate with their phones. Then you can’t curate the phone calls. So Verizon isn’t responsible for drug deals, murders, terrorism planned with their cell phones for instance.

Once you start curating the user content on your platform, you’re a publisher and not a neutral public utility. You could be held civilly liable for the content and behaviour of users on the platform. The EU is already going after FB on this IIRC.

It’s kind of hilarious they go after mean political commentators while ISIS has Twitter and accounts.

I’ll just enjoy watching the tech companies talk out of both sides of their mouth on this one.
