Been there … Once you get them relaxed and out of their “role” people open right up … it helps to have working knowledge of a lot of various things…and a healthy, honest curiosity about things which you do not know about…

That’s part of what made bouncing so much fun. People always come up and talk to you, and you just stay friendly and polite and see where the conversation goes. I’ve had a lot of annoying conversations for sure, but some really great ones too.
It’s here where I learned just how depraved women can be. I mean, I had an idea before, but never really hung around bars or bar women long enough to have this sort of insight into the female lizard brain. Fascinating stuff. I also found myself suggesting restraining orders way more often than I expected. I don’t think any of those girls took my advice.
People are strange. No doubt about it. Alcohol and social media sure do a good job of clearing away people’s filters.

My favourite is the phone call salutation when someone calls you. People trip over this all the time:
“This is Steve with ADP.”
“Hi Steve with ADP, what can I do for you?”
Gets em every time. I had one guy break character and call me a smartass, on an inbound sales call to me.

Everybody needs to chill on the heated political rhetoric. Trump, obviously. But his opponents have been getting right down in the muck with him, too. Though, I still don’t really blame such rhetoric for the violence we’ve seen, so long as people aren’t actually rallied to physical confrontation.
With that out of the way, I just thought it funny how this statement seems to contradict itself.
“So, we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right. And we have to start doing something about them.”
