I suggested exactly that in jest. But there have been caravans before, this one is just convenient. What’s ironic is that it’s actually Soros funded groups that provide the water, legal help and organization.
Let me make it clear…I have no idea who organized the Caravan…and unlike others; I can’t spin a way in which it would ultimately benefit the DEMS or the GOP.
I guess I’m just not quite devious enough to think this shit up…
I mean, Mattis himself said it was untenable that Russia had violated the treaty and that if they did not change, America would match military capabilities. That doesn’t seem like posturing to me.
In regards to DNA testing, you have to be reeeeeal careful about how you interpret the results.
23andme says I have 1% Native American ancestry, but when you delve deeper into the actual data it says something to the effect (iirc) that no Native America DNA was found in my sample, but DNA relatives have been found to have Native American ancestry so there is x% likelihood that I do as well.
My grandfather’s grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee, it was scandalous at the time (I guess great great great grandpa had no use for prudish protestant women).
That makes me 100% unable to tan, get tax free reservation cigarettes… or have any claim to being a “person of color”.
I really don’t think millennials are that much mentally weaker than previous generations. When you see kids from all backgrounds drafted for mandatory military service, the more sheltered ones do have significant trouble adjusting but most will adapt within 3 months. In other words, they may appear to be softer and more spoiled now since the standard of living has risen so much but if you put most of them to the test, most will show similar or equal amounts of resilience as previous generations, and pretty quickly.
So what is the reason for this? More politics in the media and entertainment? Educators? Parents? Are people using more scare tactics to encourage them to vote or evangelize? Or are these studies full of shit?
