Jared - you are asking about something called the Kinsey scale, which is a generally accepted view on hemo/hetero sexuality
Mike - do you even think before you post? According to you, my 6 year old neice is capable of understanding all of the risks and dangers of sexual contact? She can weigh the pros and cons of the possible physical and emotional ramifications of a sexual realtionship? My neice is extremely bright for a child of her age - but could never grasp the depth of what could be a life or death decision. (From the posts I've seen on this board, many adults can't grasp it either.) Sure, there must be 6 year olds out there somewhere who can make an informed decision about sex, but check your bell curve - the abilities of the fringe few do not dictate the abilities of the 'average'. Yes, children are people, however they are young people who have a lot to learn about the world and where they belong in it. Adult decisions are not appropriate for children, and sex is a VERY adult decision.
