Diesel, I am Catholic as well, and I take offense to your remarks. Any Priest who molests children is no Priest, but rather a wolf (homosexual or other such sinner) in sheeps clothing. After Vatican II, the Church started to turn a blind eye to some questionable people who entered seminaries in order to keep their numbers up, and that is where the problem lies. To be fair, the percentage of criminals per capita of Priests is actually a small percentage when compared to the percentage of the general population who commit such crimes. However, having said that, I am not defending these sinners. One homosexual or molester amongst the ranks of the clergy is one too many. It gives all the good ones a bad name. My brother and I were both altar servers, and I trust my parish Priest completely. The media has an agenda and has blown this entire thing out of proportion.
