I wouldn’t go so far - there’s been some more focus on Bodybuilding topics. I’m not sure if I’ve seen any of the alleged effect of the non-censoring by moderation. It pretty much looks like a cross-section of T-Nation: bodybuilding, mixed with a lot of ‘Get a Life’, mixed with some ‘Supplements & Nutrition’.
OK, it’s members only - but that may be perhaps more like in the olden days when the site wasn’t as known. The only real innovation imho are the tribunal threads no one really was prepared for. They’ve given the site a bit of a reality soap feeling. That we could have done without.
Obviously, people who are not members can only discuss it outside the Cell, so ‘keeping it inside the Cell’ isn’t really an option. That’s what GaL is for. My point here would be that T-Nation used to be a community with pockets for special interests; now it’s a community with pockets for special interests with members-only sub-communities and therefore a bit of an identity crisis.
So - shaky start, but not decided yet. I still don’t really see the point, but let’s see, it’s still early days. I surely hope life will return to normal.
