Done!! Got 2 vids, one from this morning and then this afternoon for comparison - was much harder this afternoon for sure!! Planning on testing the max on Sunday now…
Hey, congrats on making it through. Pretty soon you’ll notice hair growing in funny places and your voice getting deeper. Lol. Seriously though, this program has chewed up and spit out many a lifter, so consider your survival a major achievement by itself. Any ideas on what you want to test out at?

Thanks for the kind words mate! Felt like a tough program, but I really enjoyed it - can’t believe some of the weights/ sets I managed to hit!!
My previous belt only was 180, wraps 190 - so I want at least 10kg+, I was thinking of something like:
60 x 5, 100 x 3, 120 x 1, 140 x 1, 160 x 1, 175 x 1…then depending on how they feel, 190 and upwards! once I max out on the belt, add wraps and go for 200!

Smolov is a man maker of a program dude, you will smash 200 kg no doubt in my mind if you can describe it as just “tough” you’ve got some guts good luck man and be sure to post a video, smolov is nasty but you reap what you sow!

The full program is the complete inverse of Christimas, you’ll still add 20+lbs to your squat no problem probably more if you weren’t a big high frequency squatter before.

Great session tonight at the powerlifting gym, was planning on doing doubles with 190kg - felt great though so carried on up, smashed 210 instead!! For a +10kg PR too! Haven’t pulled properly for nearly 4 weeks either, sweet.
Bench was solid, technique was much more solid this time. Some of the other guys were pulling against the bands, so we decided to join in - brutal movement, didn’t have much more than that for a double today.
Also got to train with a texas power bar, eleiko bars too - my hands are in bits now though! Going back to squat on Sunday – bring on the 200kg!!! Oh and they reckon I should compete at 105 FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

POW! still feel rubbish from friday’s session, hammys and back are aching like mad - so wasn’t holding much hope for the planned 200 attempt. Anyway, worked up to it my old PR of 180 and it felt ok - so went for it, but in smaller jumps.
The 190kg secured the PR after Smolov, but that felt good too - so went for the 200…ground it out, wanted to go for more with wraps but my back was fried and wasn’t having it…next time!
Awesome job, Adam. A 20kg pr is great after the base mend with a e more rest you would have gotten an even bigger #. Regardless, nice work. Next up: 250
Hahaha - maybe you’ll be getting 210kg when rested and with video in hand eh?
DF - share the wealth and comment on my log; I could do with some PRs! Not this week though, I’m deloading. Have to be fair and not waste the DF effect on a down week right?
