The Resveltening Begins (5'10, 231lbs)

Im so jealous. When I bulk all the fat just sits at my stomach but you get it all over evenly.

you look like steve carrell

My progress slowed down quite a bit this month, since the 23rd or whatever of April I’ve only lost 7.5 lbs. I was hoping for closer to 10.5-12. I really haven’t lost any weight at all the last 3 weeks really. I took to the nutrition forum for advice, and decided to retool my macros to this:

Workout Days:
Before:2645 123f/113net carbs / 258 protein.
After: 2323 67f/111net carbs / 290 protein. I can drop the carbs by removing an apple that I usually eat pre workout.

Conditioning Days:
Before: 2578 156f/28 net carbs / 246 protein
After: 2324 92f/21 net carbs / 329 protein.

I’ll post some progress pics, since it’s not just about the good stuff, it’s about the road bumps too

Ass today. It’s definitely getting rounder and smaller, just not as fast as I’d like.

Front double bi. Looks about the same. I’m happy I’ve got some thickness in my chest finally, and some lat width to speak of.

Just curious what does your conditioning days look like?

LOL, another damn ass pic

Trademark ass pic, lol.

I’ll post replies to the question later…

Here’s an ass comparison, left is from start of cut, right is current

looks like you’ve lost ~2.5 cups cottage cheese

who’s taking all these booty pics?

Camera’s got a timer. No humans were harmed in the taking of these pictures

Something like this:

24 KG KB Swing Tabata: 12,12,13,12,12,12,12,12
Med+Low Box Plyo Jumps+10 lbs (27.75"): 20,18,15
High+low Box Jumps (34"): 1, 15
Palloff Presses: 60*3
Rope Slams: 20, 16

That’s my typical Sunday conditioning day. I condition on Wednesdays as well with Complexes, but now that the weather in Boston is getting better I’ll be doing sprinting as I live next to Harvard’s track

I think you already talked about this so sorry if you did. Do you not like to do any slow state cardio on an empty stomach in the morning?

I honestly just don’t have the time with my schedule. I try to get at least 8.5 hours of sleep per night, and my bed time is pretty much set by when I hang out with my lady, going to the gym after work, etc. I’m sure it’s a great tool, I’ve wanted to try it for quite some time. I may incorporate it into my Sunday conditioning days though. I’m doing sprinting on an empty stomach on Wednesdays (actually I have a cup of water & scoop of protein powder first). Do you happen to know if that works as well as steady state on an empty stomach?

^ In my experience it works as well. Maybe take some BCAA’s as well if you can…

fortunately my protein has BCAA’s & some glutamine in it. The thing I like about the sprinting is it’s over in like 15 minutes. With the steady state it can be up to an hour.

^ Yeah, I hear ya man. I’m thinking of switching it up.

new pics coming soon, down to 208
