Yeah. It’s getting a bit annoying.

For it being Colorado, you’d think there’s a lot more powerlifting gyms around here. Me and my buddy have been trying to find one we can relocate to but they’re all 40+ minutes away.

We’ve already gotten kicked out of one, people complain about us at this one and the other gyms either don’t have platforms or just won’t allow chalk and powerlifting flat out. Don’t really know what they want from us. We train alone and clean up after ourselves

I had food poisoning all of yesterday, barely ate or drank, all of it kept coming back up. Feel like utter shit this morning.

Still gonna try to lift, if it’s a lost cause I’ll shut it down early.

Battling Nasuea and stomach cramping the entire session but at least got the bench work in. I skipped the top single entirely and just did the back down work. I shifted squat to tomorrow hopefully I’m better by then.

Incline Spoto was an RPE and Volume PR regardless. So at least I got some wins.

Looks like I’m dealing with the stomach flu. Gonna rest up a little more, see if I feel good enough to go in tonight instead

I may just have to shift my training all by a week and treat this as a second week deload. I was getting beat up pretty bad in the knees and hips near the end anyways, so this could be a blessing in disguise.

Or just dropping the squat entirely this week and keeping my pulls in. My original plan was to squat today but that’s not happening, and then my backup was to hit it Friday, but I don’t think that’s too smart

Okay. Well

Unfortunately I am in the ER due to some internal bleeding. This progressed quickly. Thankfully I am not actively dying and I’m stable. I’m feeling alright now, still here making sure it doesn’t get worse.

Safe to say that lifting is not in the cards today lol.

Trying to map out training moving forward. I might have to rethink this block entirely. It sucks, I had a solid progression. I could still see me going pretty hard on bench. I’m hoping I’m set back only a week or so. Depends on when my body recovers lol (or if it gets worse)

Lifting will be on the cards when you’re better, don’t rush (dying is bad for gains), you’ve been thinking longer take recently, this will be nothing but a distant memory and you’ll be grinding away again before you know it.

Thanks guys, I got out last night after like 8 hours. That fucking sucked.

Thankfully it didn’t get any worse, got something called a Mallory weiss Tear, pretty cool. Would’ve sucked if it was something lame sounding.

still feel like a sweaty sock but not as sweaty as yesterday.

Had to come in and do something and maintain some sort of control. I also did an extended prehab routine, I wanted to get some movement in somehow.

Still recovering and still not really able to eat well, but I got in 2K cals last night in the form of mass gainers and bread, only thing I could handle.

Being able to sit in the gym with my training buddy and be in the environment really helps me mentally more than anything, even if I’m not doing anything

Not lifting no. I kept waking up with hiccups + coughing attacks and it was compounded by me puking

I have no idea how I got so violently ill, I still question if it was food poisoning since I didn’t deviate from what I ate
