Sounds like a very healthy realisation, lifting isn’t paying your bills, it’s a hobby, a good one, but it’s not life and shouldn’t be all consuming, there’s plenty of time for lifting and a big, full healthy life outside the gym. The weights, PRs and the gym are not your identity, they do not add or subtract anything from your value and worth as a human being, they are simply a hobby.

Starting to use RPE since I’m learning how to utilize it from my training partner. Stopped at 405 on Sumos to spare my Psoas. He worked up to 605 for some doubles, super annoying to have to unload plates. He’s thinking of getting a DL Jack, told him do it lol.
BPC definently helping with healing. 15 days in. First time being able to do hyperextensions. I feel like I’m in one piece… but we’ll see when I wake up tomorrow.

500mcg Subq Nightly
Was going to post this last night, I forgot.
Lowered the dose down from 750mcg. These last two 2 weeks have seen incredible (and rapid) improvement in all injuries I’ve sustained over the years. My Rotator Cuff pain is now gone. My Left Knee, which I injured a few years ago on a Leg Press and was the reason I transitioned to wraps, is doing better than ever.
My Psoas, although still a bit stiff in the mornings, is doing amazing and healing quickly. I’d say post 6 weeks after re-injury, I’ve finally caught back up.
My pec which I popped around 6 days ago is just about fully healed. Usually with a strain that feels the way it did when I initially injured it, it would take 2 weeks roughly to come back.
I was really afraid this was going to be a serious injury. This was not a little “pulling” sensation at the top. This was a HUGE pop/crack near the middle sternum. I really thought I tore a tendon off the bone. The pain radiated out to my labrum.
But… I feel healed within a 3 days and back to benching 315 for reps. Pain is gone completely, there is some very minor stiffness in this area, I think one more session of general blood flow into the area and I will be okay. Now, I know BPC is used mostly for tendon and ligament healing, I’m not so sure about the actual muscle belly. This could be placebo here. I’m not sure what it was that popped though.
Either way. I’m so glad I bit the bullet on this. Everything is on the mend and on the up. I hope this trend continues. I’ve seen better improvements in 2 weeks than I did in the last 5 months.
I am holding off on a TB + BPC mix. It seems this is all I need right now.

Absolutely insane session with my buddy as always. He worked up to 475x5 and I did 465x5.
Did 235x18 on the floor press and he worked up to 450ish on bench.
First time I hit seated OHP in a LONG time (4 months?) Threw on 225 to fuck around and failed the 8th rep. 250x5 with wraps didn’t feel that bad. I’ll be running with this for 6-8 weeks.
Training partner tried out my wraps and hit 315x3. Absolutely stupid tonnage between us.
Psoas is feeling good after this. Little beat up but outside of that… I’m good. We’ll see how I feel tomorrow.

Dave’s Singles from Wendys and Baked Potato Chips have been staples lately. Lays is absolutely God Tier and smokes every other chip (except maybe Doritos cool ranch).
