It can be both.
It depends on context. If I actually did beat my wife and that fact was established, then it is a fair question. If no proof exists of spousal abuse, then it would be what I call a loaded question, and misleading.
I have a hard time calling it a lie, as it would be awfully hard to prove the person who presented the loaded question was lying (they are spouting nonsense though). An assertion can be found to be true or false (in most cases, and in the cases that it can’t it can usually be dismissed as not having evidence either way).
It’s a loaded question, not a lie.
Lmao of course.
Makes Conservatives feel like its coming from Trump and not the Government…
Honestly…when I first read about Trump putting his name on the checks…I thought it was something written by “The Onion”.
I would worry that it would bounce or, have fine print saying it’s a loan.
Wouldn’t be the first people Trump has stiffed…
The Gravitas this election deserves:
(mostly Trump stuff, but the Biden joke was absolutely priceless, I laughed hard:
I haven’t been current on Rogan at all since the shutdown. Rogan was my occasional commute companion. Actually the last one I listened to was when he had the epidemiologist on right before things got wierd. Turns out THAT guy was fairly spot-on.
This was a great clip though, and is a fair representation of my overall level of engagement with this election. I particularly likes this exchange:
"Whether you like him or not, he is funny.
Oh, he’s HILARIOUS.
He’s a funny guy. He might not be fit to be president. He might be one of those…
y’know…
But, who is?"
And this is precisely why I’ll be supporting Biden, giving his campaign money, adding a yard sign, getting a Biden face tattoo, whatever.
The 3am call test came in to Trump, as it does for nearly every President. He failed (and continues to fail) that test spectacularly.
No President could have completely prevented COVID-19 from impacting us, but Trump’s legacy is needless deaths and an economic collapse driven primarily by his rank incompetence and secondarily by his pettiness. His actions aggravated, instead of mitigated, the damage from COVID-19.
We can’t afford another galactic face plant on the next 3am call. Biden is no gem, but we need Trump playing golf at Mar-A-Lago when the next crisis hits.
I think there is a good chance that Trump gets indicted if he doesn’t win in 2020.
The SDNY has been steadily and methodically building a case (s) against him for some time now.
I am not saying it will or won’t happen, just that I think a good chance exists. I don’t think this idea is some crazy belief. I do think Trump fears this, and it should make for an even crazier election. The stakes are high for Trump. He can get another 4 years as president, and enjoy golf trips and fancy country clubs, or possibly end up an inmate.
This is most likely UNlikely.
The “wheels of justice” simply don’t spin the same way for everyone.
I can only imagine the culture shock for Trump, once he was elected and got to enjoy those things for the first time in his life.
I can agree somewhat. Many of Trumps advisers might disagree though.
If he loses, we will have a new AG, and a president that I don’t believe would pardon him.
Inmate does not necessarily mean at a standard prison either. Martha was an inmate. I would guess that it would be a setup similar to that.
Didn’t say he did not live a hedonistic life style before being president. Just that even white collar lock up compared to extreme hedonism would be a big difference.
Yeah, and SDNY does what it wants. If they have evidence, they’re going to act on it as soon as he isn’t in office.
To me, there is an immense joy that comes from knowing a person who has lived an absurdly privileged life, yet is a complete ass hat that treats people immorally, goes to prison.
