The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

I said Trump has faults. He says stupid shit sometimes, but policy-wise he’s solid. That’s what I care about the most. His policies align with my thoughts. You want me to go full on binge hatred for the guy because you hate the guy. That’s your problem, not mine.
Biden’s mental decline is sharp and evident and frightening. Even if he wins he will be a puppet because he cannot lead. He cannot string two coherent sentences together. That’s very problematic.
The fact that he destroyed Bernie is that people would rather have a zombie puppet than socialism. It’s a moratorium on Bernie not a confidence vote for Biden. Almost everybody but you and CNN have noticed because it’s evident. It’s stark and sad, but it is what it is.

That’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about Trump and Biden’s mental health. You won’t even discuss or read about Trump’s mental health which is what everyone has been talking to you about.

No one has asked you to go on a full binge hatred. Stop making shit up. It’s just annoying that you’re asking people to ignore his mental health issues and only think about Biden’s. Not a single person has said Biden doesn’t have concerning issues there. He’s an old dude no doubt and he has issues. No one is denying that.

It’s shocking to me that you bring up Biden’s inability to be coherent when it’s every bit as easy to do that with Trump.

You’re an absolute fucking idiot with this sentence. I’ve brought up concerns about Biden as have the others who have discussed it with you. You’re deliberately being obtuse. I give you the benefit of the doubt a lot on some of the things you are incorrect on throughout your history here but you’re not even trying.

Almost everybody but you has noticed Trump’s consistent behaviors throughout his candidacy and his presidency. It’s not just about saying stupid shit that has people concerned.

If you want your head buried in the sand by all means go ahead but don’t ask the rest of us to join you.

“I never understood wind,” Trump said, according to Mediaite. “I know windmills very much, I have studied it better than anybody. I know it is very expensive. They are made in China and Germany mostly, very few made here, almost none, but they are manufactured, tremendous - if you are into this - tremendous fumes and gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right?”

“So the world is tiny compared to the universe. So tremendous, tremendous amount of fumes and everything. You talk about the carbon footprint, fumes are spewing into the air, right spewing, whether it is China or Germany, is going into the air,”

Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you’re a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.”

Not concerning stable genius, isn’t getting any worse.

If grandpa starts talking like that, we start looking into assisted living.

You’re a ‘lying dog-faced-pony-soldier’

Ok. Again NO ONE in here is saying Biden doesn’t have issues. We’re saying they both have concerning issues and you’re saying “nuh uh!”

Bush said funny things. Obama said 57 states. People make gaffes. The thing is with Trump and Biden it’s not that.

Many of Trump’s behaviors are just him and are deliberate. The evidence of his mental health issues are out of his control. If a loved one behaved like Trump whether young or old most people would seek help.

Pot…kettle…

He did have 2 brain surgeries. Catching up with him.

Look, guys.

Our choices are as damaged as they were in 2016.

I have said more than once that it’s a sad state of affairs when our choices will be Biden and Trump.

I may sit this one out…for the first time since I was able to Vote,

Oh yeah? You should see the other guy. Corn Pop.

I think you need to think bigger picture. Do you want four more years of whatever crap we’ve had so far and risk that it might continue past that if republicans believe they need to keep on Trumping or do you want the possibility that some sense of maturity and competence might return to the presidency?

Good question, @zecarlo

There is some serious soul-searching going on here.

I think that if both men are showing the “deficits” that their critics are pointing out…they should show up clearly during the debates, don’t you think?

A good question to ask ourselves is which one of the two will surround himself with people we can trust to make up for those deficits.

Voted for Johnson last time. Trump is getting my vote this time. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with his job performance. My vote comes down to the courts. He’s made pretty good progress in the lower courts. Ginsburg, Breyer and Thomas are likely to be replaced in the next 4 years. We’ve strayed immensely from the original framework of government and the courts should not be this powerful. But since it ain’t going back, we need judges that actually care about the law and the original intent of our constitution. Trump gives us a better shot than any Democrat.

I’ll take the latter. I don’t imagine Biden is someone a lot of people are dying to vote for but if my option is the unstable and erratic behavior of the current one in charge or the unstable and erratic behavior of him I’ll go with the one who acts like an adult more often. The one more likely to listen to experts and willingly pass the torch if he can’t do the job.

I know the other one will often ignore experts and will never pass the torch if he can’t do it. If it’s two old fogies with mental issues going to be forced to go with the less dangerous one. To me it’s obvious who that is. I can’t imagine Biden has the ability to be a bigger narcissist, liar, and show less empathy. I’m not sure anyone can. Biden’s been in politics much longer and has far less examples of unhinged behavior.

“In an official statement dated March 17, Boeing said it “supports a minimum of $60 billion in access to public and private liquidity.”

I didn’t realize it was that easy. Who do I call and let them know that I also support a minimum of 60 billion in access to public and private liquidity for myself?

They may have lowballed here. Should have asked for 100. Always start high!

The full-force of the 2020 Presidential Election has not been unleashed…and things can change a lot over the next few months…but I sure hope that this trend of having a choice between two bad choices for President ends with Biden and Trump.

Who knows.

I don’t know if the Haley resignation from the Boeing Board was “good” or “bad”…but she did take and ethical stand and stood by it .(Maybe it was easier with a company that appears to be going down the tubes with each passing day? Something to think about…)

Was Boeing one of those companies who had used previous bailout money to buy back stocks?
