The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

He tells it like it is!

Says what’s on his mind!

Isn’t afraid to mix it up!

Doesn’t bow down to some PC culture!

It’s refreshing to hear a politician speak freely and not just off a TelePrompTer!

He’ll get down in the mud!

He’ll take the fight to them!

He’ll drain the swamp!

He talks like one of us!

I swore I heard these words recently somewhere :grinning:

In all seriousness though we did discuss above I believe (sometimes I get the threads mixed up) that Bernie would be helped significantly by multiple candidates in the race but has the potential to be hurt should it narrow. It narrowed and he’s been hurt.

You could have made some good money betting on Biden a few weeks back. Most had wrote him off after the early weak showings. Primaries are strange. Bernie by no means dead but doesn’t look like this was a great night for him.

Not from me!

I want my politicians to be smooth and effortless liars.

Unfortunately, Trump has problems delivering in in that regard. Effortless, sure. Smooth? Not on his best day.

Don’t get me wrong though, I’d love to see Biden hook up a Supporter with a whole symphony of chin music on the campaign trail. Thats not just armchair pundit heaven, that would be historical.

You’ve got a low threshold for aggressive. I’ve been scolded by my grandpa before. Makes Biden look like a camp counselor in this video.

You’d have to be careful in that part of Michigan. You’ll be on the hook for someone’s implant. Maybe just a crown.

Perhaps we travel in different circles. If someone gets in your face over asking a question, says you are full of shit and acts like a threatening jerk, well, that’s what my dad would call “cruisin for a bruisin”.

Maybe Biden and people you know act like that all the time, even without a security detail. I wouldn’t know. I only dealt with people who act like that when I worked at a bar.

The fact that he’s the leading candidate for president just makes it hilarious. Way to connect with the working man, Joe. Bonus points for naming an imaginary gun that doesn’t exist.

Nah. It’s pretty well calibrated. When someone continues into your personal space like that, hands on or not, and keeps charging on you as you move backward- that is absolutely aggression.

You know this. I could be wrong, but I believe that without his security detail, if he moved into anybody like that there would at least be shoves, likely blows.

If an adult male considers sleepy Joe to be a threat, they may want to self evaluate.

What better way exists to connect with the working man than to be an asshole? That’s not a rhetorical question. It seems to be highly effective.

Ehhhh. I wouldn’t consider my daughter getting in my personal space to be aggressive, nor my grandpa.

Happy to agree to disagree

Right. I don’t have a problem with security details. I have a problem with aggressive behavior when you have a security detail.

If you’re passionate enough about an issue to act the way Biden does towards this guy, fine. I can respect that a little more when you’re putting your own ass on the line. It’s still dick behavior, but at least you aren’t hiding behind someone else.

It’s not unlike the guys who all of a sudden become swinging dick tough guys when they are carrying a gun.

Can someone tell me where this myth of “Trump Loyalty” started? (Among many other myths?)

Jeff Sessions was the first (and most loyal) Senator to endorse Trump when campaigning…and despite all of Trump’s public insults directed at him as AG…he stood fast to the end, and until this day, has not been publicly critical of Trump.

Guess what the “Loyal One” did?

He endorsed former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville for U.S. Senate in Alabama, in a blow to his former attorney general, Jeff Sessions, who is also running for the same seat (which Sessions gave up to campaign for Trump).

In the famous words of Gunnery Sargent Hartman-“Full Metal Jacket”:

" (Trump) didn’t even have the g-damed common courtesy to give (Sessions) a reach around!"

Don’t get it. Trump has already thrown anyone close to him under the bus whenever he needs to. He doesn’t know the person the moment anything damaging happens.

No doubts to me he would throw wife and kids under if it came down to it. Maybe even precious Ivanka that he really wishes wasn’t his daughter so he could bang her.

Pretty sure SNL parodied Sessions loyalty to Trump and him not giving a shit about it more than once.

Seems like Ivanka has been laying low…and rolling in the cash, baby!

Objectively speaking, Sessions’ behavior is the outlier here. It’s mind boggling. Trump must have pictures of him doing business in airport bathrooms.

But TDR 'bros, rock on.

It started with gents like you, who have spent years talking about how unshakable his Rock solid base is.

Only Trump beats Trump baby

I wouldn’t mind rolling in it with her…

You know she has uncontrollable ibs, right?

Yeah. Only issue is if you guys become romantically involved you have her dad asking you for details and saying things like “believe me I wish I was you.”

Irritable bitch syndrome? Very common. I ask my wife if she has it from time to time and she gets mad. I guess she just doesn’t like talking about her health…

I wouldn’t either. I’d stay far, far away from that conversation. :joy:

Uh…no, @pfury.

That doesn’t make sense as an explanation of the Trump “Loyalty” myth.

Is the myth that he is loyal to his “people” or that they are loyal to him?

I’d heard early on how he had people profess their loyalty and all that, which is ridiculous to have people do and extraordinarily insecure.

There is no loyalty in any of those people or any of their dealings.
