While I think Trump will win…I don’t agree with his Evil Genius Campaign Manager that it will be a Landslide.
That’s not going to happen. (Even though we can be sure that Trump will make it the greatest Victory ever in the history of Presidential Elections).

I can’t see a landslide scenario vs Biden. I laid out why he’s most dangerous to Trump. Warren or Bernie may be a different story.
I just don’t see how I can come to the conclusion that a President who can’t jump 46 percent approval over this amount of time is going to landslide anyone that isn’t an awful candidate. Nixon has the next lowest highest approval rating at 63. That’s insane to me. I remain convinced that Clinton was the only Dem Trump could lose to. Also he was the only Republican imo who she could beat. I don’t think any other Republican front runner loses the popular vote.
Of course that said Trump now has positive things he can point to which should help him out. That’s why I gave him the edge. I haven’t checked in a while but last I knew his state polling was down in most states or it was. I’ll see if I can dig that back up again.

Trump has the gravitational pull of a Black Hole. It is almost impossible to discuss any aspect of Politics today without the man inevitably coming up.
Once that happens; it then becomes a “Trump” thread. (Which the Trump Fans should like, since the man has liked the center of attention his whole Life).
Pretty impressed by the chubby white dudes rapping. did not agree with what he said, but pretty solid skills.
I just think it’s weird how much they sound alike.

Pretty sure the 5ish never trumps (inc you i would think) derailed discussing dems in favor of slamming trump. Not provoking, just my observation.

Yep, l was responding to mufasa’s reply to kong, more or less.
The push to 2020 probably started nov '16, the morning after, so to speak.

I think part of the thing is we just don’t have a lot of active voters. When I first started posting here the number was much bigger. Threads lately have taken all sorts of turns because anyone of them its almost like a hangout for the few posters here.
Plus we have no real villains anymore like Raj and Zep.

All of these people running for President are a LOT of things…but dumb is not one of them…
All of the DEM candidates…including Biden…better put on their Big Boy and Big Girl shorts and realize that they will be judged by a much different…and much higher…standard than Trump…

I agree with some of it, including some of what @Mufasa copied.
Though l am not inclined to believe many statements that the press issues concerning politicians is fully truthful. They have shown their colors with a years long lack of objectivity.
Quick example - deportations. Obama more each year (by 100,000s) than Trump. Yet media screeching Trump is creating concentration camps, destroying family units, racist, breaking law, destroying Constitution etc, while hanging on every word of Dems going back to last couple of Dem presidents and leaders. All recorded as being for orderly and lawful immigration and against ‘fence jumpers’.
Yeah I don’t think the GOP and Trump really want a wall. I mean they had all the power in the world. They want to run on it and chant build the wall. The secret is corporations want illegal labor. They combine a few things we love. Greed and fucking poor people. It’s just the cherry on top to fuck brown poor people.
Texas, Kansas and many other states have to have immigrant labor in many areas. They won’t touch businesses that hire them. In Kansas a few years ago they tried to pass something but turns out a ton of western ks farmers said wait we can’t have our huge farms without these people. No one else will work here. And bam those Republicans shot it down.
We don’t need a wall to solve illegal immigration by any means. But no one wants to fix the problem by hurting wealthy businesses so the game goes on.
