Aerts is a certified legend. Definitely one of my favorite fighters of all time.
I can agree with that. Traditional boxing and even MT also do technical sparring sessions which are more flow based though as well.
My personal feeling is that as long as you do not sell it as sparring the “push hands” flow exercises are really helpful for finding center of balance and touch based reaction in grappling. It’s essentially like a less violent and more free flowing version of freestyle wrestling pummeling drills.
I think it would have been much more interesting to see how taiji was trained in the 1800s rather than the watered down versions we have. I suspect it would be a similar divide as the traditional karate vs the McDojo karate. I trained in yang style taiji years ago (among other TMAs).
Anyway back on topic - I agree with 538 that I would not put any faith in exit polls this year. Especially with shy Trump fans being liable to troll the polls. Ok, it’s not really trolling but still will throw things off.
Realistically I don’t think we are going to know who won for several days at least.

I predict violence tonight, tomorrow and days after. Given that the people in D.C. are spray painting, “We support BLM” on the wood of their boarded up stores, I don’t think it’s Trump voters they are afraid of.
They know Trump voters have to be at work tomorrow so they can’t be out looting and rioting.

My wife was gonna be out of town this weekend helping my SIL pick out a wedding dress in PDX (no sales tax). I was looking forward to a solo weekend of steaks, weed, pornhub, football and going for a high AF walkabout in the mtns with my dog. But, 2 dress shops have now canceled due to expected rioting and now they’re not going. So instead I get to hangout with SIL, MIL, and wife all weekend!
