The Push to 2020 Has Begun!

The libs might be the ones starting a war. They’ve already gone to war over the deaths of scumbag criminals.

Well they’ve thrown a hissy fit.

There will be a point where either the government responds or the right does.
We are certainly not too civilized as a nation, to avoid a shooting civil war, imo.

I think Trump has consistently been speaking in a similar manner, and his speeches have key words inserted purposefully, sometimes multiple times, even at the expense of proper grammar.

It’s why they’re so effective in affecting people psychologically, like an ad in the awareness phase(first phase) constantly “yelling out” it’s brand name or slogan for it’s audience to remember and retain it before they move on to giving more information on what it’s about. And his words play on emotion rather than logic.

EDIT:

You notice people are loyal to certain brands even though there are much better, cheaper alternatives? They normally can’t even explain why and say some stuff that makes no sense. It’s because closing a sale is emotion based, and the consumer justifies their purchase to prevent cognitive dissonance.

So it doesn’t show a decline in mental capabilities to me or maybe he just does it out of instinct from so many years of doing sales and ads. Just my opinion from experience analyzing stuff like this in other industries, though.

EDIT:

This is pretty much what I’m saying and pretty accurate too. It should explain it more concisely:

Well they certainly have an effect on me listening…

They all come from his news sources, which are also his supporters’ sources. By repeating what Hannity or Alex Jones or some Facebook journalist says, he validates it.

Because they also hear it from multiple sources.

Nono, watch the video I linked. It’s the same way we choose to emphasize key words for advertising copy writing but Trump does this at the expense of proper grammar.

I would agree. Thinking everyone will be covered for cheaper, Mexico will pay for the wall, and the national debt will be paid off in 8 years isn’t playing on logic. It’s playing on people being stupid.

Yes. Anytime I happen to hear something Trump is saying, he is always saying the same thing, using the same adjectives, etc.

He’s American so he won’t use proper grammar. Obama and Bush used improper grammar at times.

I think Trump actually believed it. It’s not like he reads.

I know, but his grammar is atrocious enough for people to think he’s either stupid or mentally declining. He’s not the smartest guy in the world but he’s definitely not stupid. His choice of words are calculated, probably from instinct from doing this shit for most his life. Bush quotes are just funny as fuck.

Watching Hannitty with captions on to see what you believe in that week doesn’t count as reading?

I wouldn’t say that. It’s pushing them to make emotional decisions, i.e, voting and, which may be irrational but not stupid, although they can be both. But I think people are just mostly irrational. You ask any good salesman or bd manager and he/she will tell you closing is ALWAYS emotional.

EDIT:

Of course, there are lots of people who vote for him because they agree with his policies or just find the alternative worse. I’m only commenting on the marketing end and how it affects those susceptible to these tactics. They especially don’t work on cynics.

I would also add Reason and Reasoning does not work with people wearing blinders.

It’s a little similar to how extremely smart and high functioning Chinese people still pay big money to feng shui masters and fortune tellers whom are obviously charlatans. These are irrational beliefs.

This seems like splitting hairs. We’re going to build a wall and Mexico will pay for it. Believing that is stupid. I know more than everyone else in a bunch of different fields. Believing that is stupid. I will pay off the national debt in 8 years but I won’t tell you how. Believing that is stupid.

The list can go on and on. Someone could tell me they are voting for Trump because they think he is better than the alternative and I’d be cool with that. But Trump is spitting bullshit out all the time and the people who believe it are stupid. Not everyone who votes for him. But those who listen to what he says and thinks it’s all true.

I’ve highlighted and used italics on key words and themes he’s emphasizing even in one of the dumbest things you can find. It doesn’t look right in writing, but his delivery while speaking is what counts.

Try speed reading through it and see what you pick up. The message is there.

I think a smart person can be irrational. Like I said above, rich, smart and high functioning Chinese people pay lots of money for fortune tellers and fengshui masters even though they aren’t very religious at all.

When you look at all these things pertaining to Trump, you need to see them as a culmination of various factors and drivers. These things don’t exist in a vacuum. Fear of invasion, for one, is a significant driver.

EDIT:

Think about Steve Jobs choosing alternative medicine for months instead of proper medical treatment after his cancer diagnosis. He wasn’t stupid, to say the least. The man was a fucking visionary.

It was a combination of fear, false hope, faith and a probably a whole lot of other things that normal people can’t even fathom swirling around in that unique mind of his.

And just to be fair to “the other side”:

Another populist here.

P.S, I hate Bernie although I think he was the one with the 2nd best political ads in 2016.

His delivery doesn’t help in the least bit. I can emphatically say that whole thing and it’s going to come off as nonsense. It’s rambling craziness. It’s not made any better by highlighting words that he repeats. It doesn’t sound any better when he says it.

Then Trump believers must be smart but prone to irrationality when someone says something that sounds good. I mean erasing the debt in 8 years and Mexico paying for the wall sounds good no doubt. But you’d have to be an idiot…I mean quite irrational to believe it.
